JBL Vibe Flex 2 JBLVFLEX2BLKAM True Wireless Earbuds, Black, 12 mm Drivers

True wireless in-ear earbuds in black, the JBL Vibe Flex 2 pair a stick-shaped design with 12 mm dynamic drivers and JBL Pure Bass sound.

Smart Ambient features let you choose between hearing more of your surroundings with Ambient Aware and using TalkThru to speak with someone without removing the earbuds.

For a commute or outdoor walk, that awareness can be useful, for music listening at home or during exercise, the Pure Bass sound and touch controls keep everyday listening straightforward.

Highlights

JBL Pure Bass sound comes from the 12 mm dynamic drivers, giving music a bass-focused presentation. Four microphones—two on each earbud—pick up your voice for calls, with ambient-noise cancellation to help keep speech clear in busy surroundings. Touch controls let you manage calls and listening without reaching for your phone.

Bluetooth 5.3 provides a wireless connection with compatible devices, and multipoint connection lets the earbuds connect with up to eight Bluetooth devices and switch between them. The JBL Headphones app offers sound customization with an in-app EQ and lets you set the Voice Prompts language. Voice assistance is also supported.

The earbuds are IP54 water and dust resistant, while the charging case is IPX2 resistant. That makes them practical for everyday routines and outdoor activities where light exposure to the elements is part of the day. Buyers appreciate the battery life, feedback is more divided on microphone quality, fit, comfort, connectivity and performance, and some express dissatisfaction with sound volume.

Fit and sizing

The Vibe Flex 2 uses an in-ear, stick-shaped form with an ergonomic design. It’s a simple format for moving between a desk, a walk and a workout without carrying a wired headset. Use the touch controls for calls and music, or adjust sound settings in the JBL Headphones app to suit your listening preferences.

Battery life is rated at up to 10 hours from the earbuds, with another 30 hours available from the charging case for up to 40 hours total. When you need a quick top-up, 10 minutes of charging over USB Type-C provides up to three hours of playtime. A full charge takes two hours.

Who it’s for

These earbuds suit listeners looking for one pair for music, commuting, calls and exercise, with ambient options that adapt to the moment. TalkThru is handy when a quick conversation comes up, while Ambient Aware helps you hear more of what’s around you without taking the earbuds out. If switching between a cell phone, computer or tablet is part of your day, multipoint support can simplify moving between connected devices.
