JBL Tune 730BT JBLT730BTBLKAM Over-Ear Headphones, Bluetooth 6.0, 76-Hour Battery

For music on a commute, calls between classes or a film while travelling, the JBL Tune 730BT gives you an over-ear wireless listening setup with JBL Pure Bass Sound and Bluetooth 6.0.

Its 40 mm drivers and adjustable headband suit everyday listening, while the foldable design makes the headphones easier to pack between outings.

Need to move between a phone and a laptop? Multi-point connection lets you pair two Bluetooth devices and switch between them, so your audio routine can follow your day.

Practical tips

Use the JBL Headphones app to choose the sound profile that suits what you’re doing: Default for balanced listening, Bass for extra low-end emphasis, or Vocal to bring voices forward. Voice prompts confirm your selection, making it easier to tell which profile is active. For calls, the two beamforming microphones are designed to capture your speech and reduce background noise, whether you’re checking in with someone on the move or joining a teleconference.

Pair the headphones with two Bluetooth devices when you want to move between them—for example, listening on a tablet and staying connected to your cell phone. Bluetooth 6.0 supports wireless streaming, and USB-C is the charging interface. A five-minute speed charge provides up to five hours of playback, a full charge takes about two hours. The charging cable is not included, so plan to use a compatible cable you already have or obtain one separately.

Strengths

JBL Pure Bass Sound and custom 40 mm dynamic drivers give music a bass-forward presentation for playlists, films and other everyday entertainment. The over-ear format, cushioned earcups and adjustable headband make this a practical style for longer listening sessions. At 218.2 g, the headphones are lightweight, and their foldable construction is useful when you’re packing for school or travel.

The app’s three EQ presets let you adjust the sound without changing headphones: keep the Default profile for general listening, choose Bass for a stronger low end, or select Vocal when spoken content matters most. For calls, two beamforming mics on each earcup help focus on your voice and reduce background noise. Buyer feedback commonly praises the sound, fit and comfort, opinions on battery life and noise cancellation vary. The listed noise control is passive, so the microphones’ call-noise reduction is a separate feature.

Key takeaways

With up to 76 hours of battery life, the Tune 730BT is made for listening across busy stretches without frequent recharging. The quick-charge feature adds another practical option when you need playback sooner. Actual listening routines vary, but the combination of extended stated battery life and a short speed-charge makes it useful for commutes, study sessions and travel days.

It works with Bluetooth-enabled cell phones, desktops, laptops and portable media players. Choose it if you want over-ear headphones that bring together customizable JBL sound, two-device switching and call microphones in one foldable wireless design, rather than a simpler headset focused on listening alone.
