JBL Tune 670NC JBLT670NCPURAM Wireless On-Ear Headphones, Purple

For adults who want to focus on studying or enjoy music with fewer distractions, the JBL Tune 670NC combines adaptive noise cancelling with Smart Ambient listening modes.

Its lightweight, foldable on-ear design is easy to take along, while JBL Pure Bass Sound brings music, videos and calls to your everyday routine.

Connect to a phone or tablet over Bluetooth, personalize the sound in the JBL Headphones app, and switch between two paired devices with multipoint connection.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use Adaptive Noise Cancelling when you want to concentrate, then switch to Ambient Aware to hear more of the surroundings or TalkThru to make conversation easier without taking the headphones off. These listening modes are available through the JBL Headphones app, which also lets you choose a preset EQ or adjust the EQ curve to suit your content.

Moving between a tablet video and a call on your cell phone? Multipoint pairing lets you switch between two Bluetooth devices. On-ear buttons handle sound and calls, and VoiceAware lets you hear your own voice while speaking. For travel or a change of scenery, the headphones fold for easier packing. A detachable cable also offers a wired listening option.

What stands out

The Tune 670NC brings together noise control and ways to stay aware of nearby sounds, so it can suit both focused listening and moments when you need to follow a conversation or your surroundings. JBL Pure Bass Sound is designed for music listening, and the app’s EQ controls give you room to tailor the sound rather than relying on a single preset.

Compared with compact earbuds, this is an on-ear design with a padded headband and soft ear cushions, plus a foldable frame for carrying. Its 174 g weight supports a lighter carry, while the two-device connection is useful when work, calls and entertainment are split between a phone and tablet. Buyers often praise the clear sound, comments on fit and comfort vary, as do impressions of the noise cancellation. The on-ear fit is worth considering as part of your personal preference.

Buying verdict

Choose the JBL Tune 670NC if you want wireless on-ear headphones that combine adaptive noise cancelling, Smart Ambient modes and adjustable sound in a foldable purple design. It suits study sessions, music on the go and switching between calls and video across a phone and tablet, with app controls and VoiceAware adding practical options for everyday listening.
