FIFINE H8 Studio Monitoring Headphones, 50 mm Drivers, Detachable Coiled Cables

Large 50 mm dynamic drivers give the FIFINE H8 a clear role in recording and everyday audio monitoring. Its wired design includes detachable coiled cables with 3.5 mm and 6.35 mm plugs, making it practical to connect with compatible computers and studio equipment. Need to move between a computer and a mixer? The two cable options help simplify that change. The over-ear, closed-back design also offers passive noise isolation for more focused listening.

Technical overview

The H8 combines a 50 mm dynamic driver with a stated frequency range of 20 Hz to 20 kHz and 32-ohm impedance. For vocal recording, podcasting or reviewing a mix, that gives you a dedicated wired listening setup rather than a headset focused on USB connectivity. Its closed-back earcups provide passive isolation from high-frequency environmental noise, helping keep attention on the audio being monitored.

The adjustable headband and padded over-ear cushions support a comfortable fit during recording, streaming and other extended sessions. At 265 g, the headphones are designed to feel lightweight during use. Buyers have praised the clear sound and build, while feedback on fit is mixed, reflecting different preferences in how over-ear headphones sit.

Best use cases

Use the H8 to monitor vocals while recording, check audio during podcast or voice-over work, or listen while creating music. The over-ear design helps create a more focused listening space, while the detachable coiled cable gives room to move around a desk or recording area without a loose cable trailing as far across the workspace.

For a home setup, connect the 3.5 mm cable to a compatible desktop, laptop, mobile phone or tablet. When working with equipment that has a 6.35 mm headphone jack, use the included cable with that plug instead. This makes the H8 a straightforward choice for people who want one wired pair for both personal devices and compatible music-production equipment, including mixers, audio interfaces and amplifiers.

What you get

The package includes the FIFINE H8 headphones, a detachable 3.5 mm-to-3.5 mm coiled cable, a detachable 3.5 mm-to-6.35 mm coiled cable and a user manual. Both cables are listed as 9.8 ft long. Choose the cable that matches the headphone output on the device you are using, the headphones connect through a wired 3.5 mm jack.

When it makes sense

The H8 suits a recording or streaming desk where clear monitoring and flexible analogue connections matter more than a wireless setup. Its two detachable cables make it easier to move between compatible 3.5 mm devices and equipment with a 6.35 mm output, while the adjustable headband and padded earcups support focused sessions. If you are choosing between a USB headset and a wired monitoring pair, this model’s practical advantage is its two plug options for compatible audio gear. For vocal takes, podcast editing or checking a music mix, the FIFINE H8 brings the essential monitoring connections together in one over-ear pair.
