HUION HS64 Graphics Drawing Tablet with PW100 Battery-Free Stylus, 8,192-Level Pressure
Product description
Best use cases
The HUION HS64 has a 6.3 × 4-inch active area for drawing, sketching, note-taking and marking up teaching material. Its screen-free design pairs with a computer or compatible Android phone, so you can work with a pen on the tablet while viewing your project on the connected device. The compact working area can also suit a smaller desk or a portable creative setup.
Use it for digital illustration, design tasks, learning and online teaching. It supports Windows 7 or later, macOS 10.12 or later, Linux and Android 6.0 or later. For Android phones or tablets, connect through the included OTG adapter, iPhone and iPad are not supported. On a computer, install the HUION driver to configure the working area and shortcuts.
Benefits
The PW100 stylus works without a battery, so drawing sessions do not require charging the pen. With 8,192 pressure levels and support for up to 60° tilt, it responds to changes in pen pressure and angle for expressive strokes. A 5080 LPI resolution and 266 PPS report rate round out the drawing specifications, while the pen can also be used for handwriting and annotations.
Four programmable press keys put frequently used shortcuts within reach during computer use. Set them up for actions that suit your workflow, such as changing tools or speeding through common editing steps. The shortcuts are not available in mobile mode, so the keys are most useful when the tablet is connected to a computer.
The HS64 works with pen-enabled creative software and online learning applications. Examples listed for use include Photoshop, Illustrator, Corel Painter, Clip Studio, ZBrush, Krita and GIMP. For a live lesson or remote presentation, the pen can help with drawing diagrams, editing material or annotating a digital whiteboard in tools such as Zoom, Teams or XSplit.
Customers often describe the tablet as compact and intuitive, and some find it useful for learning and teaching. Feedback on the drawing experience is mixed, so personal preferences may vary. Compared with a pen display, the HS64 has no built-in screen, it suits a setup where you want to draw on the tablet and see the work on a separate connected device.
