Gritin G1316 Clip-On Book Light with 7 LEDs, 6 Colour Temps and Torch

At 120D x 40W x 16H millimetres and 63 g, the Gritin G1316 is a compact clip-on book light made from acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS).

Its two lighting functions combine a reading lamp with a separate white-light torch, giving you useful illumination for a book or a focused task nearby.

Choose from six colour temperatures and adjustable brightness for the reading light, then aim the rotating head and clip to suit your reading position.

Best use cases

Clip the lamp to a book for hands-free reading at night, or attach it to a desktop, headboard or bookshelf to bring light closer to where you need it. The compact 63 g body is easy to reposition between these spots, while the adjustable head helps direct the beam onto a page rather than relying on a fixed bedside light.

The lamp head uses seven full-spectrum LEDs for reading, and a separate LED at the base provides the torch function. The two lights are operated independently and cannot be used at the same time. That makes the design useful when you want one small light for reading and a different, more focused beam for nearby tasks.

What you’ll notice day to day

Set the reading light to one of six colour temperatures from 2200K to 7000K and adjust its brightness to suit the room and the page. A long press provides stepless adjustment, so you can fine-tune brightness rather than choosing only a preset. The product’s full-spectrum lighting is designed to reduce blue light and provide more natural colour rendering, supporting a comfortable reading setup in dim surroundings.

The head rotates 90° left or right and tilts downward by 60°, while the clip rotates 150°. These adjustment points make it easier to aim light at a book from different positions. A built-in memory function retains the previous brightness and colour-temperature settings for the main light, as well as the torch brightness, so the lamp can return to your preferred setup after being switched off.

Buyers commonly praise its brightness and portability, and also describe the light as useful for reading. Battery life, versatility and colour choices are other aspects they appreciate, making the range of adjustments and clip-on format particularly relevant for regular reading routines.
