Growalleter Ocean Wave Projector Light 2-Pack, 16-Colour LED Night Lights

Create a calming backdrop for bedtime, quiet reading or a yoga session with the Growalleter Ocean Wave Projector Light. Its LED projection casts water-ripple patterns around an indoor space, while 16 colour choices let you set a look that suits the moment, from a cool blue glow to a softer, more restful shade.

The cube-style lamp is designed for tabletop use and runs on USB power, so it needs to stay connected to a power source while in use. Use the included remote to change colours, brightness and lighting modes, or reach for the touch switch on the lamp itself.

Highlights

Choose from 16 colours and four lighting modes: Breath, Flicker, Smooth and Static. The dimmable LED lets you adjust the brightness for a gentle night-time glow or a more noticeable ambient effect. A memory function saves your preferred settings, making it easier to return to a familiar look rather than starting over each time.

The remote offers convenient control from across the room, while the touch switch provides a direct way to operate the lamp. A long press of about three seconds turns it on or off, a short press cycles through colours or modes. The acrylic shade and polished finish give the compact cube a modern look that can sit on a bedside table, desk or shelf.

Buyers often praise the colourful ripple effect and the relaxing atmosphere it creates. Feedback on brightness and reliability is mixed, so the best way to enjoy the projection is to choose a setting that suits your room and routine. For clearer, more vivid patterns, use the lamp in a darkened room and aim it towards a plain white or light-coloured wall or ceiling.

Everyday use

At 11 x 11 x 11 cm, the cube fits naturally into a bedside setup, reading nook or desk arrangement without taking over the surface. The water-like light effect adds visual interest for winding down, creating a calm room atmosphere or adding colour behind a video setup. Its indoor tabletop design suits dry living spaces, keep it away from water, as it is not water-resistant.

Unlike a standard night light that simply illuminates one spot, this projector adds a moving ripple pattern and selectable colours to the room. Choose a static colour for a steady glow, or switch to one of the dynamic modes when you want a more animated backdrop. The USB power connection supports extended use while the lamp remains plugged in.

How to use it

Place the lamp on a stable indoor surface and connect it to a USB power source. For a more defined projection, dim the room and direct the light towards a plain, light-coloured wall or ceiling. Use the remote to select a colour, mode and brightness, then save a preferred setting with the memory function. The touch switch remains available for quick changes on the lamp: press and hold to turn it on or off, or tap to cycle through its available colours and modes.

When it makes sense

This projector suits anyone looking to add adjustable ambient lighting to a bedroom, reading corner, desk or other indoor space. The 16 colours, dimming and four modes offer more ways to shape the atmosphere than a fixed-colour night light, while USB power and remote control make everyday operation straightforward. It’s a practical choice for creating a soothing ripple effect at bedtime or a distinctive background for a quiet activity.
