Soarling 6122D-Y LED Liquid Motion Lamp, 17 Colours, 8-Hour Timer

For a bedroom, desk or living space that calls for a changing accent light, the Soarling 6122D-Y combines liquid motion with LED colour effects in a retro tabletop lamp. Its multicolour glow adds visual interest while serving as a night light or decorative feature.

Choose from 17 colour options and adjust the brightness with the remote control. Four lighting modes—flash, strobe, fade and smooth—make it easy to shift the mood, from a gentle glow for winding down to more animated colour for a gathering.

The lamp’s polished aluminum base and lid frame a glass-and-plastic body, with a black-and-green colour scheme. An 8-hour timer, dimming and memory function add useful control for regular evening use.

Requirements

Assemble the lamp on a clean, flat surface by securing the body to the base and placing the cap on top. Once switched on, allow 1.5–2 hours for the liquid to warm and flow normally, the stated optimal working temperature is 22–25°C. Keep the lamp stationary while it is operating to help prevent the liquid from becoming cloudy.

The remote adjusts the lighting, including colour selection and brightness, but does not control the liquid flow. It requires 2 AAA batteries, which are not included. With the lamp set up near a bedside table, desk or counter, its controls let you change the light without handling the lamp itself.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the smooth or fade mode for a softer decorative glow, or select flash or strobe when a more active effect suits the room. The colour-changing background and moving liquid create a different visual focus from a conventional static bedside light, while the dimming control helps tailor the brightness to the setting. For a quiet evening, set the lamp on a stable tabletop and let the motion provide ambient interest, for a party or shared space, change the colour mode to create a livelier accent.

The 8-hour timer and memory function are practical additions when the lamp is part of a regular lighting routine. Keep the remote nearby so colour and brightness adjustments are easy, and choose a position where the lamp can remain undisturbed as the liquid warms and moves. Its retro styling also makes it an easy fit alongside bedroom or office décor, rather than a light reserved only for use after dark.

Buying verdict

This Soarling lamp suits anyone looking for more than a fixed-colour accent light: it pairs a moving liquid display with 17 LED colour options, adjustable brightness and several lighting modes. Use it as a tabletop night light, a desk-side mood lamp or a decorative feature in a bedroom or gathering space. The remote, timer and memory function make it especially useful when you want the atmosphere to be easy to adjust as the room’s purpose changes.
