Briignite GD002 Motion Sensor Night Lights, 2-Pack, 3000K Warm White

For anyone who wants hands-free light for nighttime trips through the home, the Briignite GD002 plug-in night lights turn on automatically when motion is detected in low-light conditions. Their 3000K warm-white LED provides a gentle guide for a bathroom visit, a hallway or a child’s room without needing to find a switch in the dark.

Each light uses a 0.6W LED and produces 60 lumens. The compact plug-in design is made for indoor use and is described as leaving the neighbouring outlet available. Want light only when someone is moving through the space? The motion sensor handles the on-and-off routine automatically.

Strengths

The sensor detects movement within a 4-metre range and a 120-degree angle. Once activated, the light stays on while motion continues, then switches off after 30 seconds without movement. That makes it useful for passing areas where a fixed light would be unnecessary throughout the night, while still providing illumination when someone walks by.

The warm-white output is suited to bedrooms, bathrooms and living rooms, as well as hallways and children’s rooms. Plug-in installation keeps setup straightforward: place the light in an indoor wall outlet where its sensor can detect movement along the route you want to illuminate. Its 6.5 × 6.5 × 4.6 cm dimensions make it a compact choice for adding light without setting a lamp on a table or floor.

Buyer feedback often highlights the motion response and the usefulness of the light in hallways and bathrooms. Opinions vary on the light’s size and how long it stays on, so the documented 30-second shut-off gives a practical reference when choosing where to place it.

What matters most

This is a motion-activated alternative to a night light that stays on continuously. The sensor is intended to respond in low-light conditions, and the light turns off automatically after movement stops. Its 60-lumen output offers a visible guide for short trips around the home, while the warm 3000K colour keeps the lighting in a softer, warmer tone than a bright overhead fixture.

For example, placing one near a hallway route can provide light as someone gets up at night, then switch off once the area is still. The same hands-free operation can help with a quick bathroom visit or with adding a low-level guide light to a child’s room. Choose an indoor outlet positioned along the path where movement needs to be detected, the light is not waterproof, so bathroom placement should be away from water and wet areas.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the sensor’s view open to the area where movement should trigger the light, and position the unit at an indoor outlet along that route. This makes it easier for the sensor to detect someone approaching within its stated range and angle. The plug-in format also makes it simple to move the light to another suitable outlet as household needs change. With a 0.6W LED, it is designed for energy-saving illumination when a low-light area needs an automatic guide rather than constant lighting.

What to clarify

When does the light turn on? It activates when the sensor detects movement in low-light conditions, providing automatic illumination without operating a switch.

How far away can it detect movement? The stated detection range is up to 4 metres, with a 120-degree angle.

How long does it stay on? It remains on while motion continues and turns off automatically after 30 seconds without detected movement.

Is it worth it?

For a home that needs convenient, occasional light along a nighttime route, the Briignite GD002 combines plug-in installation with automatic motion activation and warm 3000K illumination. Its 60-lumen output, compact dimensions and timed shut-off make it a practical fit for indoor hallways, bedrooms and bathroom approaches where a hands-free guide light is useful.
