Green Jiss HD-8K-1M HDMI 2.1 Cable, 1 m, 48 Gbps, Braided

What matters most

For a gaming or home theatre setup that calls for high-resolution video and a fast HDMI connection, the Green Jiss HD-8K-1M combines HDMI 2.1 support with a 48 Gbps bandwidth rating. It supports 8K at 60 Hz and 4K at 120 Hz, making it suited to connecting compatible displays with consoles, computers and other HDMI sources.

The cable also supports HDR10, eARC, 3D and VRR. These features help serve different parts of a setup, from HDR picture and audio return to variable refresh rate gaming. For them to work, the connected source and display need to support the relevant feature as well.

Rather than choosing a cable solely for a basic HDMI link, this model is aimed at setups where high refresh rates, high-resolution video or newer HDMI features matter. Its round cable has a braided cotton-mesh outer covering, with gold-plated connectors and a 30 AWG tinned-copper core.

Quick sizing guide

At 1 m (3.3 ft), this cable is a practical fit when the source and display sit close together, such as a console beside a TV or a computer connected to a nearby monitor. Measure the route between the HDMI ports, allowing enough room for the cable to reach without pulling at the connectors. For a more distant source, choosing a longer cable may suit the layout better.

The male-to-male HDMI connection is intended for linking HDMI-equipped devices. Listed examples include televisions, computers, laptops, Blu-ray players and monitors, the product details also name PS5, PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch among compatible devices. Match the cable to the HDMI ports and features of the equipment in your own setup.

Everyday use

For a console connected to a nearby 4K television, the 4K@120Hz support and VRR feature make this cable relevant to a gaming setup when the console and TV support those modes. For film or video playback, its listed 8K@60Hz support and HDR10 capability suit compatible high-resolution displays. It can also link a laptop or desktop to a monitor, keeping a short, direct connection between the devices.

The braided covering gives the cable a distinct exterior, while the gold-plated connector finish and anti-bending tail design are part of its construction. Buyers commonly praise the cable’s build and day-to-day functionality. Feedback is more mixed on length, signal quality and compatibility, so matching the 1 m reach and the capabilities of the connected devices to your setup is useful.
