GL GLENSLAVE S05 Dog Car Seat, Beige Memory Foam Booster for Pets up to 35 lb

Some car trips call for a soft place for a pet to settle, others call for a defined spot that helps keep them in place. The GL GLENSLAVE S05 combines a cushioned booster seat with a detachable bed, giving small pets a comfortable area for the ride and a familiar place to rest beyond the car.

Its plush surface, memory foam cushion and adjustable safety leashes bring comfort and a practical travel setup together.

At a glance

The beige seat is made with memory foam, short plush and sponge, with a 6-inch egg-crate sponge cushion at the base. The raised design gives a small dog a better view of its surroundings, while the soft surface creates a cosy place to settle. Two safety belts, an adjustable shoulder strap and access for a harness at the base help keep the seat secured and your pet contained during the drive. Use the restraint features as intended before setting off, so your dog has its own designated space rather than moving around the vehicle.

The cover and cushion are removable. Unzip the bottom to take out the foam, then machine-wash or hand-wash the cover according to the care instructions. Small storage pockets add a place for pet essentials. Customers commonly praise the seat’s softness and comfort, and some say the contained seating arrangement helps their dogs feel more settled in the car.

How it fits

Measuring 45.2 L x 45.2 W x 48 H centimetres, the booster is intended for small and medium-sized dogs and cats weighing up to 35 lb. It can be placed on a front or back seat in a car, SUV or truck. The elevated cushion is useful for pets that like to look out during a ride, while the seat’s defined space suits owners who want their pet to have a consistent place in the vehicle.

Compared with a flat travel mat, this booster-style design adds a raised cushioned base and restraint points. A mat may suit someone who only needs a surface to lie on, this seat is designed for car travel as well as resting. Remove the car safety belt to use the bed at home, outdoors or in a tent, making it easier to offer a familiar resting spot in different settings.

Tips for day-to-day use

Position the seat on the chosen front or rear vehicle seat, then use its adjustable straps and harness access to set up your pet’s restraint. Keep the dog within the stated weight recommendation and allow enough room for it to settle comfortably. For a trip, store small essentials in the side pockets and give your pet time to get used to its designated spot before setting out.

For cleaning, unzip the base and remove the foam before washing the cover. The seat arrives vacuum-packed, after opening it, allow 24–48 hours for it to regain its shape. When the car journey is over, the detachable bed can provide a soft resting place at home or while camping.
