Portin 60in Waterproof Dog Car Seat Cover, Black Polyester with Side Flaps

Some drivers need a simple layer to catch pet hair, others want broader coverage that also helps shield the seat edges. The Portin dog car seat cover combines a 60in-wide bench cover with side flaps and openings for seat belts. Need to keep the middle seat belt accessible? Hook-and-loop openings let you route the belts through while keeping the cover in place.

Size & fit

Designed for the rear bench, this black cover is 60in wide and has side flaps to extend protection over the seat ends. Its universal fit is intended for most cars, trucks, SUVs and MPVs, making it a practical choice when you want one cover for a shared rear seating area. The middle-seat opening and two side-seat-belt openings allow seat belts to pass through, so the bench can still accommodate up to three passengers. An armrest opening preserves access to the rear armrest, while the adjustable-length opening adds flexibility around the seating area.

Installation uses buckle straps around the rear headrests, seat anchors tucked into the seat gap and elastic straps secured around the seat corners. This arrangement helps hold the cover in position as a dog gets in or settles on the bench. Buyers often highlight the straightforward installation and fit, along with the cover’s cleaning convenience and appearance.

Strengths

The waterproof polyester surface helps protect the vehicle’s upholstery from wet paws, dirt and pet hair during everyday trips. Side flaps add coverage where a dog may step onto or brush against the seat edges, and the material helps guard against scratches as pets climb in. The nonslip mesh backing, corner elastic straps and seat anchors work together to reduce shifting, so the cover stays arranged across the bench.

Unlike a basic flat liner, this design includes belt and armrest openings alongside the side flaps. That makes it easier to keep useful rear-seat access while adding coverage for the upholstery. It can also be used when transporting children or groceries, with the cover providing a protective layer over the bench. After a drive, clean the surface with a damp cloth or vacuum, it can also be machine washed on a gentle cycle.
