Pieviev Litter Box Mat, 76 x 61 cm Double-Layer Waterproof EVA

The double-layer honeycomb design catches scattered litter as your cat steps out of the box, helping keep particles off nearby floors. Its waterproof base also helps protect the surface beneath the mat from liquid, while soft EVA provides a comfortable place for paws.

At 76 x 61 cm and finished in black, this mat creates a generous collection area around a litter box. Lift it to release trapped litter for disposal or return to the box.

Why it makes sense

Litter that clings to paws can travel beyond the area around the box. The honeycomb top is designed to collect those loose particles in its openings, with the second layer holding them until you empty the mat. That makes it a practical alternative to a flat mat when your priority is catching and gathering litter rather than simply placing a surface under the box.

The waterproof, slip-resistant base adds another useful layer of floor protection, including around hardwood floors and carpets. The mat is made from washable EVA, so it can be rinsed when it needs a more thorough clean. Buyers often highlight its litter-catching ability, roomy size and straightforward cleaning and emptying as useful parts of everyday use.

Key points

The two layers work together: litter falls through the honeycomb openings and stays on the lower layer, ready to be tipped out. A gentle shake can help release particles, and the collected litter can be returned to the litter box. This helps reduce the need to sweep or vacuum scattered litter around the box as part of routine tidying.

The soft EVA surface is described as gentle on cats’ paws, while its washable construction supports regular clean-up. The mat is intended for use with a range of litter box styles, including hooded, covered and self-cleaning boxes. Need a mat that catches litter and helps protect the floor in one spot? This design brings both functions together in a single surface.

Care & maintenance

For everyday emptying, lift the mat and let the captured litter fall through the honeycomb openings, then tip it out. For dirt or spills, rinse the washable EVA surface with water, the manufacturer also describes hosing it off as a cleaning option. Allow it to dry before placing it back in the litter area. The two-layer construction makes the trapped litter accessible without having to pick particles out one by one.
