Veehoo CWPT2524CP Dog Steps, 17-Inch Folding, Non-Slip, 200 lb Capacity

Non-slip carpeted steps give dogs a more stable way to climb into a vehicle than a slide-style ramp, while the folding design makes the Veehoo dog stairs easier to carry and store. Built for large dogs, the metal-frame steps support up to 200 lbs and adjust to a maximum height of 68 cm for access to cars, trucks and other elevated surfaces.

When the steps are folded, their compact 43 x 33 x 15 cm size helps keep storage straightforward between outings. Non-slip padding underneath and a stabilizing crossbar help keep the stairs steady as your dog boards.

Fit and sizing

The adjustable height reaches up to 68 cm, giving you flexibility when positioning the stairs beside a vehicle, high bed, window perch, grooming station or veterinary table. At 17 inches wide, the steps provide a defined climbing surface for larger dogs. The carpeted treads are designed to support footing, while the padded base helps limit movement on the ground. Rubberized handles and edges also help protect vehicle paint when positioning the stairs.

For a typical car trip, set the stairs against the vehicle opening and let your dog climb step by step rather than jumping up from the ground. The folding format is useful when you want a portable boarding aid that can be packed away after use. If you are choosing between a folding set of steps and a slide-style ramp, this design offers individual footholds and a crossbar for added stability during boarding.

What stands out

A steel structure supports up to 200 lbs, making these steps suitable for larger dogs. Each tread combines a non-slip rug surface with a steel mesh step that can be rinsed with water, helping simplify cleanup after outdoor use. Non-slip padding on the bottom adds grip where the stairs meet the ground, and the stabilizing crossbar helps reduce wobbling as a pet climbs.

The steps fold down to 43 x 33 x 15 cm for carrying or storage. That compact folded size is practical for keeping the stairs in a vehicle between visits or outings, then setting them up when your dog needs help reaching a higher surface. Buyers often praise the folding design, portability and ease of use, and some say dogs learn to use the steps quickly. Feedback on fit is mixed, and some buyers raise concerns about durability.
