Petsfit DLC1004622BL Cat Carrier with Wheels, Blue, Removable Base

Specifications

At 18 x 12 x 11 in without the wheel base, this blue polyester carrier is sized for travel with a small pet. Its rolling base and telescopic handle offer an alternative to carrying the carrier by hand through an airport, parking area or vet clinic.

Mesh panels on all four sides provide airflow and visibility, while memory-metal support rods help the carrier hold its shape. Inside, an adjustable safety tether adds security, and the removable cushioned pad gives your pet a place to rest.

Would rolling your pet’s carrier make a busy trip easier to manage? The detachable base lets you switch between rolling and carrying, with the carrier designed for air travel, vet visits and short road trips.

Practical tips

For cabin travel, detach the wheel base and check the carrier dimensions against your airline’s and aircraft’s current requirements before departure. Pet sizing matters too: compare your pet’s weight, body length and height with the listed guidance so there is room for a suitable fit. For vet appointments or short road trips, the wheels and telescopic handle can make moving between the car and your destination more convenient.

The four-sided mesh also gives your pet visibility while supporting airflow in transit. Use the adjustable interior tether for added security, and remove the cushioned pad when it needs cleaning. The waterproof bottom helps make everyday cleanup easier, while a side pocket provides a place for small travel essentials.

What you get

The carrier comes with its wheel base. The base detaches for cabin travel or storage, so you can choose the setup that suits the journey. Metal zipper locks and the interior safety tether add practical security features, while the removable cushion supports a more comfortable resting space for your pet.

Buyers often praise the carrier’s portability, spacious feel and ease of use, including the convenience of rolling rather than carrying it. Feedback on fit, durability and functionality is mixed, so choosing by your pet’s measurements and checking airline requirements are useful steps when planning a trip.

Questions before you buy

Can the wheel base be removed? Yes. The base is detachable, allowing you to use the carrier without it for cabin travel or storage.

Is it designed for airline travel? Yes. It is described as an airline carrier and measures 18 x 12 x 11 in without the base. Airline and aircraft requirements vary, so check the applicable size rules before flying.

What size pet is it intended for? The listed guidance is up to 5.9 kg, with a body length of up to 15 in and height of up to 8 in. Compare those measurements with your pet’s size when selecting a carrier.

When it makes sense

It makes sense if you want a soft-sided carrier that can roll through airports and other travel settings, then convert to a carrier without its base. The mesh panels, cushioned pad and adjustable tether support practical trips with a small cat or other suitably sized pet, from airline travel to vet visits and short drives.
