Petsfit Expandable Soft-Sided Pet Carrier with Washable Plush Pad

The expandable mesh sides give your pet more room to stretch out during travel. A removable, washable plush pad adds a comfortable resting surface. Locking zippers and several carrying options help make trips easier to manage, from the car to the airport.

Who it’s for

This Petsfit carrier is designed for cats and small dogs, including kittens and puppies, with a stated pet weight capacity of up to 14 lb. It suits you if you want one carrier for travel and everyday outings, with the option to open the mesh sides when your pet needs extra space to lie down. The extended area also gives pets room to look out through the ventilated mesh windows.

For a flight, the carrier is described as airline-approved in S and M sizes. Check the carrier’s measurements against your airline’s current under-seat requirements before booking, as airline rules can vary. In the car, the soft-sided design provides a dedicated place for your pet to settle, while the removable plush pad gives them a familiar, cushioned base.

Why it’s worth it

Unlike a fixed-width carrier, this design can expand to create more room when your pet is resting. Mesh windows on the sides provide visibility and ventilation, and the top window offers another view of the surroundings. A supportive wire structure helps the carrier hold its shape, while its flexible construction can be compressed to fit beneath an airplane seat when the dimensions work for your flight.

The washable, removable plush pad makes it straightforward to freshen the resting surface between trips. A side storage pocket keeps small travel essentials close at hand. For carrying, use the two handles, attach the longer shoulder strap, or slide the side strap over the extendable handle of rolling luggage. Self-locking zippers add a practical security feature while you move between destinations.

Worth noting

The carrier is made from polyester, with ventilated mesh windows and a PP board base to help support your pet. It can be folded flat for storage when it is not in use. Its expandable layout is useful when your pet needs space to settle, while the flexible soft-sided form is intended for travel situations where a carrier may need to fit beneath a seat. Check the size and pet weight against your needs, and confirm the applicable airline requirements before flying.

Practical questions

What is the stated pet weight limit? The product description gives a maximum pet weight of 14 lb. Measure your pet as well as considering weight when choosing a carrier.
