EastPin GH-9 Neck Reading Light, Rechargeable LED with 3 Colour Modes
Product description
Some reading sessions call for a broad, even light across a page, detailed crafts can benefit from light directed precisely at the work. The EastPin GH-9 is a hands-free neck light with an adjustable rectangular floodlight and a separate round spotlight, so you can choose the beam that suits the task.
Wear it around your neck and bend the arms to position the light while reading, knitting, sewing or working on other close-up projects. Its rechargeable design and push-button controls make it practical for quiet indoor activities and for hands-free lighting on camping or fishing trips.
How to use it
Place the light around your neck, then adjust its flexible arms and rotating heads to aim the illumination at your book or work area. The rectangular lamp is designed to spread light broadly for reading and crafts. The round spotlight provides a more focused beam when you need to direct light elsewhere. With the light positioned on your shoulders, your hands remain free to turn pages, handle yarn or manage small tools.
Use the push button to select among three colour modes on the rectangular lamp. A short press changes the mode, a long press adjusts its brightness smoothly. This gives you a way to tailor the light for activities such as embroidery, crochet, quilting, needlework and nail work. The included Type-C cable is used to recharge the light.

Strengths
The two light shapes serve different practical needs: the rectangular lamp spreads illumination across a page or craft area, while the round spotlight offers a more directed beam. Flexible arms help bring the light to the right angle, and stepless dimming lets you adjust the rectangular lamp rather than relying on fixed brightness settings alone. Its neck-mounted format is useful when a handheld light would get in the way of reading or precise handwork.
For example, while following a knitting pattern in the evening, you can aim the broader beam at the stitches and keep both hands available. The same hands-free setup suits sewing, cross-stitching, reading in bed and other tasks where you want the light close to the work. Buyers commonly praise its lighting, brightness, adjustability and versatility, while feedback on battery life is mixed.
Before you decide
How do the colour modes and dimming work? A short press cycles through three colour modes on the rectangular lamp. Pressing and holding adjusts its brightness steplessly. These controls are specified for the rectangular lamp, not the round spotlight.
Can you aim the light at a specific area? Yes. The flexible arms and 270° rotating head let you change the direction of the light to suit a book, craft project or nearby task.
What comes with the light? The listed components are the reading light, a Type-C cable and a user manual. The light is rechargeable, so the cable can be used for charging.
Buying verdict
The EastPin GH-9 suits readers and crafters who want hands-free lighting they can position around their neck, with a broad beam for pages and detailed work plus a separate spotlight for more focused illumination. Three colour modes and adjustable brightness add useful control for different reading and craft sessions.
