DORESshop CX220 LED Night Light, Dusk-to-Dawn Sensor, Dimmable Soft White

A built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor adjusts the light through the day, dimming it in daylight and brightening it at night to help make familiar indoor spaces easier to navigate. The DORESshop CX220 is a plug-in LED night light with adjustable brightness and a soft white glow.

Use it in a bedroom, bathroom, hallway or kitchen for gentle lighting after dark without switching on brighter room lights.

Benefits

Brightness adjustment lets you choose a softer glow or a brighter setting to suit the room and the time of night. That flexibility is useful for a hallway where you want to see your way through, or a bedroom where subdued lighting is more comfortable. The automatic sensor adds a hands-off element: the light responds to day and night, so you do not need to manage that change yourself.

As a plug-in design, the CX220 is made for straightforward placement at a wall outlet. Its LED light source uses 1 watt, and the soft white colour gives it a decorative as well as practical role in an indoor setting. Compared with a night light that offers only one fixed brightness, adjustable output gives you more control over the amount of light in the space.

Highlights

The CX220 combines a light sensor with dimmable brightness, bringing automatic day-to-night operation and user-adjustable light into one compact night-light format. It is intended for home use, with a modern decorative look and a clear crystal-colour shade. Its warm, soft white light is suited to everyday areas where a gentler alternative to overhead lighting can help after dark.

What do buyers tend to notice? Their comments often praise the appearance and the quality of the light, while some also appreciate being able to choose a dimmer or brighter setting. These impressions point to the product’s two practical roles: adding a decorative accent and providing adjustable night-time illumination.

The listed electrical specifications are 120 volts and 1 watt. For a typical evening routine, place the light in an indoor outlet along a route you use at night, such as between a bedroom and bathroom. The sensor handles the change between daylight and darkness, while the dimming feature lets you set the brightness that feels appropriate for that space.

Tips for day-to-day use

Choose an outlet in the room or passage where the light will be useful after dark, and set the brightness to suit the surroundings. A lower setting can provide a softer glow in a bedroom, a brighter setting can help illuminate a hallway or bathroom. Keeping the night light in its intended indoor setting makes it easy to use as part of a regular home lighting setup.

Final verdict

The DORESshop CX220 is a practical fit for anyone looking for a decorative plug-in night light with more control than a single-output design. Its dusk-to-dawn sensor manages the day-to-night change, and adjustable brightness makes it easier to tailor the glow to a bedroom, bathroom, hallway or kitchen. Choose it when you want soft white LED lighting for familiar indoor routes, with the convenience of automatic sensing and the flexibility to set the brightness yourself.
