Each cartridge is a PG-240XL-compatible replacement, so check your printer’s model against the list below before ordering. The cartridges are intended for printing on plain paper, making them a practical fit for routine black-and-white jobs.

Matching the printer model to this list is the clearest way to choose the right cartridge for your setup.

Why it’s worth it

The two-cartridge format gives you a second black replacement to keep on hand, which can make it easier to maintain your usual printing routine when the current cartridge needs changing. Compared with choosing a single replacement, a two-pack is useful when you prefer to have another cartridge ready for the next change. As a compatible replacement rather than a Canon OEM cartridge, it offers a PG-240XL option for the listed printers.

The stated page yield is 600 pages for a PG-240XL black cartridge, based on 5% coverage of A4 paper. That reference helps set expectations for document printing, where page coverage affects how much ink is used. Actual jobs can vary with the amount of black printed on each page.

Highlights

This is a two-pack of black ink cartridges for inkjet printing. The black-only format suits everyday text documents and other jobs that call for black ink, while compatibility across the listed PIXMA MG, MX and TS models makes the cartridge useful for a range of home printer setups. Its PG-240XL designation also gives you a specific cartridge type to match against your printer’s requirements.

In a typical home routine, you might use one cartridge for letters, assignments and forms, then keep the second as a ready replacement.
