Skydo DR830 Drum Unit Replacement for Brother Printers, 15,000-Page Yield
Product description
Highlights
For a home office or small business that relies on a compatible Brother laser printer, the Skydo DR830 drum unit provides a replacement designed for regular black-and-white printing. Its stated yield is up to 15,000 pages at 5% page coverage, making it a practical choice when you need a drum unit for ongoing print jobs rather than a toner cartridge.
The single-pack unit has a smart chip to help monitor current toner level and plan for a replacement in time. It is compatible with a range of Brother HL, DCP and MFC printers, including the HL-L2400D, HL-L2460DW, DCP-L2640DW and MFC-L2820DW. Choose a drum unit when that is the part you need to replace, toner is a separate consumable.
Usage tips
Check your printer’s model against the compatible list before selecting the DR830. Supported models include Brother HL-L2405W, HL-L2420DW, HL-L2460DWXL, HL-L2465DW, HL-L2467DW, HL-L2480DW and HL-L2865DW, DCP-L2647DW, and MFC-L2760DW, MFC-L2807DW, MFC-L2820DWXL, MFC-L2900DW, MFC-L2900DWXL and MFC-L2980DW. The unit is also listed for the DCP-L2640DW, HL-L2400D, HL-L2460DW, MFC-L2820DW and MFC-L2900DW.
For everyday documents on plain paper, the 600 dpi laser-printer specification supports a straightforward office printing setup. The stated page yield is based on 5% coverage, so actual pages per unit can vary with how much of each page is printed.
How to use it
Use the DR830 drum unit with a TN830 toner cartridge in a compatible printer. The toner cartridge is not included, so keep or obtain the appropriate cartridge separately for the complete printing setup. When replacing the drum, follow the instructions for your printer model to install the unit and resume printing. The smart chip is designed to support monitoring of the current toner level, helping you keep an eye on supply status during routine office use.
