Valuetoner 62XL Remanufactured Black Ink Cartridges, 2-Pack for HP Printers

A two-cartridge pack of remanufactured Valuetoner 62XL black ink cartridges gives you replacements for compatible HP inkjet printers in one purchase. The high-yield format is intended for home and office printing, with two black cartridges ready to support everyday documents.

Choose this pack when you need black ink for a supported HP ENVY or OfficeJet printer. Compatibility includes selected ENVY 5540, 5640, 5660, 7640 and 8000 series models, plus OfficeJet 200, 250, 5740 and 8040 series models. Match the printer’s exact model to the compatibility list before selecting a cartridge.

Technical overview

Each cartridge is a remanufactured replacement in the HP 62XL format, with black, water-based ink. The 62XL designation identifies the cartridge family, while the high-yield format is suited to recurring document printing. These cartridges are made for the compatible printer models listed above, rather than for every HP printer.

For a home office, this format can keep routine black-and-white printing supplied with a second cartridge on hand. The cartridges are intended for print-only inkjet use on plain paper, making them a practical match for documents such as forms, correspondence and everyday office pages. A chip is listed as included, supporting use with compatible printer models.

Everyday use

The two-pack is useful when printing is part of a regular routine and you’d rather have a replacement available than order cartridges one at a time. For example, keep the second cartridge stored for the next change while the first is in use. If the cartridges will be stored for an extended period, the manufacturer recommends a cool, dry place.

Customer feedback is mixed on cartridge duration and printer compatibility. Some buyers describe good print impressions, while others report that cartridges ran out sooner than expected or that a printer did not recognize them. These experiences are worth weighing alongside the specific printer compatibility information when choosing replacement ink.

What’s included

The pack contains two remanufactured black 62XL ink cartridges. A green recycling envelope is also described as included for returning empty cartridges through Valuetoner’s recycling programme.

Questions before you buy

Which printers are listed as compatible? Compatibility includes selected HP ENVY models such as the 5540, 5640, 5660, 7640 and 8000 series, and OfficeJet models including the 200, 250, 5740 and 8040 series. Check your printer’s exact model against the compatibility list before purchase.

Can the cartridges be refilled? No. The manufacturer identifies these 62XL cartridges as non-refillable and does not recommend refilling them.

How should I store a cartridge that won’t be used right away? Keep it in a cool, dry place if it will be stored for a longer period.

Final verdict

This Valuetoner pack is suited to owners of listed HP ENVY and OfficeJet printers who want two remanufactured black 62XL cartridges for regular home or office documents. Its high-yield format and included recycling envelope add practical value to a straightforward replacement-ink purchase.
