Best use cases

The dual-ring design makes it useful when a room needs both everyday illumination and a changeable accent. Use the lower ring for adjustable white light, the upper ring for one of its RGB colors or fade effects, or switch on both to combine the two. The dimming range and three color temperatures give you options for shifting the room’s feel without relying on a single fixed light setting.

For a bedroom or gaming space, the RGB ring can add color while the main light handles general illumination. In a small living room, the fan adds air circulation without requiring a separate fan and light fixture. Six speeds support different airflow preferences, and the reversible motor offers a summer downdraft mode and a winter updraft mode for circulating air in different seasons. The timer can be set for 1, 4, or 8 hours, while the remote or app provides control from across the room.

Buyers often highlight the light’s brightness, color choices, quiet operation, and the fan’s airflow. Feedback on installation varies: some describe it as straightforward, while others find assembly more involved. The included illustrated manual and step-by-step installation video provide guidance for setup.

Everyday use

The fan saves you from choosing between a ceiling light and a separate air-circulating fixture, while its independent rings let you tailor the lighting to the activity. Set a preferred white-light temperature and brightness for everyday use, then use the RGB ring when you want a more colorful atmosphere. The fan and lighting settings are saved automatically five seconds after turn-on, so the chosen ambiance is restored the next time it is switched on. It suits you if you want app or remote control alongside a compact ceiling fan and flexible lighting.

Questions before you buy

Can the two light rings be used separately? Yes. You can use the RGB ring by itself, the main white-light ring by itself, or both at the same time.

How do you control the fan and lights? Use the remote or Bluetooth app to adjust the six fan speeds and lighting. The controls also let you set the 1-, 4-, or 8-hour timer.

Does the fan have seasonal airflow modes? Yes. Its reversible motor supports summer downdraft cooling and winter updraft air circulation.

Final verdict

The ZMISHIBO KDMM23 brings a fan, dimmable white light, and customizable RGB accents together in a 23-inch flush-mount design. Its six speeds, reversible motor, and app or remote controls make it a practical fit for smaller bedrooms, living rooms, and gaming setups where adaptable lighting and air circulation are both useful.
