Ohniyou GLX121 72-Inch Industrial Ceiling Fan with Light, 7 Blades, App Control

The 72-inch black Ohniyou GLX121 combines a ceiling fan and light in one fixture for larger garages, workshops, and covered patios. Its seven-blade design and airflow of up to 8,000 CFM support air circulation across open areas.

Choose from six fan speeds and use the reversible airflow to circulate air downward for summer cooling or help move warm air near the ceiling in winter. The DC motor is rated at 35 dB for quieter everyday operation.

A dimmable, replaceable LED module adds adjustable lighting, while the included remote and app let you change fan and light settings from the floor.

How to use it

Mount the fan from the ceiling using the downrod, then use the remote or connected app to select a speed, adjust the light, switch airflow direction, or set the auto-off timer. The light offers three color temperatures—3000K warm, 4500K neutral, and 6000K cool white—and brightness adjusts from 100% to 10%, making it easier to tailor the fixture to everyday tasks or a more relaxed setting.

The wall switch serves as the master power control, use the remote or app to operate the fan and adjust its speed. Connect the fan directly to the home circuit rather than to a dimmer switch. For outdoor use, install it in a covered area protected from direct rain, such as a covered patio or porch.

What stands out

This fixture brings air circulation and lighting together, an alternative to choosing and coordinating a separate fan and light. The 26.57-inch blades have molded end caps angled upward, while the fan’s stated airflow capacity reaches 8,000 CFM. Reversible operation adds flexibility through changing seasons, and app or remote controls make it possible to adjust settings without reaching for a wall control.

The light settings give you another way to adapt the room: choose warm, neutral, or cool white, then dim the LED to suit the activity. Because the LED module is replaceable, it can be changed when needed without replacing the entire fan. Buyers often praise the quiet operation, airflow, appearance, and ease of installation. Comments about size vary: some appreciate the large span, while one buyer found it too large for a living room.

When it makes sense

The Ohniyou GLX121 is suited to larger indoor spaces such as garages, workshops, meeting rooms, and warehouses, as well as covered outdoor areas. For example, in a workshop, the six speeds let you choose an airflow setting while the integrated light illuminates the same space, in a covered patio, the remote or app can adjust settings from where you are seated. Its 72-inch span and combined fan-and-light design make it a practical fit when you want broad air circulation and adjustable lighting from one ceiling fixture.
