What to know

This polyester carrier is sized for pets up to 16 lb, with a roomy 17 x 11 x 11-inch interior. Its three-sided mesh panels provide ventilation and visibility, while the steel frame helps the carrier hold its shape. The fabric is described as waterproof and scratch-resistant, and the carrier can be folded flat when it is not in use.

For carrying, choose the cushioned handle or the adjustable, wide shoulder strap. The strap can also be used to secure the carrier to a car seat or luggage. Inside, a safety leash helps keep your pet attached to the carrier. A side pocket gives you a place for small travel supplies, and the removable plush cushion is machine washable for easier cleanup. The product is described as airline approved and suitable for under-seat travel, check your airline’s current carrier rules before flying.

On-body feel

The soft-sided design and removable plush cushion create a more cushioned setup than a hard-shell carrier, while the mesh sides keep the space open and let you see your pet. The padded shoulder strap and cushioned handle give you two ways to carry it, which is useful when switching between a walk through the terminal and a short trip from the car to a veterinary office. Remove the cushion for machine washing when it needs freshening.

Best use cases

Use the carrier for vet visits, car rides, outdoor outings, and air travel where the carrier fits the airline’s requirements. At home, it can also serve as an indoor resting spot. The fold-flat construction is handy for households that want a carrier available for occasional trips without leaving a full-size carrier set up all the time.

Compared with a rigid carrier, this soft-sided style emphasizes flexible storage and shoulder or hand carrying. Customer feedback often appreciates the roomy feel, foldability, and soft base. Opinions are mixed on sturdiness and zipper quality, so handle the zippers smoothly when opening and closing the carrier.
