XIMUSON WL-008 Automatic Dog Ball Launcher, Adjustable 20–45 ft

For a game of fetch in the living room or backyard, the XIMUSON WL-008 launches balls automatically so your dog can keep the play going by dropping a ball into the inlet. It’s designed for small and medium dogs and adjusts to different play spaces.

Choose a shorter launch distance for indoor play or a longer one for outdoor fetch. The adjustable range is 20–45 ft, giving you options for the space you have.

Want to make fetch more hands-free? The launcher lets dogs place a ball in the inlet for automatic launching, while the included ETPU balls provide a soft, elastic option for play.

What it works with

This launcher is made for small and medium dogs and works with the three included 2.3-inch ETPU balls. It also supports standard-size dog tennis balls, so you can use that familiar ball style as a replacement during play. The adjustable range supports fetch in different settings: set a shorter distance for indoor sessions and use a longer range for backyard play.

The ETPU balls are described as soft and elastic, with a feel intended to be gentle on dogs’ gums. For a simple play routine, place the launcher where your dog has room to move, then let your dog drop a ball into the inlet to start another round. Its 9.5 x 6.5 x 9.5-inch footprint makes it a compact unit to place at home and put away between sessions.

Usage tips

Start with the shorter launch setting when playing in a living room or other indoor space, then adjust the distance to suit the available room. For outdoor fetch, the longer setting gives your dog more room to run. Keep the launcher positioned with a clear path in front of it, and show your dog how to place a ball into the inlet so the automatic launch can begin.

The three included ETPU balls give you a set to start with. If you prefer standard-size dog tennis balls, the launcher supports those as well. Use the USB cable and user manual included with the unit as part of setup and operation.

Practical questions

How far can the launcher throw a ball? The launch distance adjusts from 20 to 45 ft, so you can choose a shorter range for indoor play or a longer one for outdoor fetch.

What balls can I use? The package includes three 2.3-inch ETPU balls. The launcher also supports standard-size dog tennis balls.

Can my dog trigger the launcher? Yes. The interactive setup allows a dog to drop a ball into the inlet for automatic launching, making it possible to continue a fetch session without manually throwing each ball.
