HOPET SNFM#1 Snuffle Mat for Dogs, 28.3-Inch Interactive Feeding Puzzle

At 28.3 by 28.3 inches, the HOPET snuffle mat gives dogs a broad area to explore for food. Its soft fabric sections and hidden feeding pockets turn treats or kibble into a scent-based activity. A non-slip bottom helps keep the mat in place during use. It can also make mealtime a more engaging alternative to serving food in a regular bowl.

Quick sizing guide

The mat measures 28.3 by 28.3 inches and is listed for dogs of all breed sizes. Its square shape gives dogs room to search across the surface, while the foldable design makes it easier to store between sessions. Use it indoors or outdoors, placing it on a flat surface before scattering food or treats among the fabric folds. For a meal, spread the food through the mat so your dog can sniff and forage for each piece rather than eating from one spot.

Pros

This puzzle feeder draws on a dog’s natural sniffing behavior. The fabric folds and four additional feeding pockets create places to hide treats, kibble, or small toys, giving dogs a task to work through at their own pace. That makes it useful for adding enrichment to a daily routine, occupying a dog with a food-based activity, or slowing down a fast meal.

Unlike a standard food bowl, the mat makes finding the food part of the experience. The grippy underside helps reduce movement as a dog searches, and the lightweight, foldable format is handy when you want to put the activity away after use. The material combination includes felt, fleece, Oxford cloth, and non-slip non-woven fabric. The mat can be cleaned by hand or in a washing machine.

Buyer feedback commonly highlights engagement, the number of hiding spots, and the mat’s size, some customers also describe it as helpful for slowing quick eaters. Durability opinions are mixed, so the strongest reasons to choose it are the foraging activity and its use as an interactive feeding surface.
