HDSX HDSX-C001 Squeaky Rubber Football Dog Toys, 1.5-Inch, 6 Count

A quick game of fetch or a chew break gives a puppy a chance to stay engaged with a toy sized for smaller mouths. The HDSX-C001 set pairs a compact football shape with a built-in squeaker. Looking for a toy that can move between indoor play and outdoor fetch? These mini latex footballs are designed for both.

The essentials

Each football measures 2.3 x 1.5 x 1.5 inches, with a 1.5-inch profile that’s easy for tiny and small dogs to pick up and carry. The six-count set comes in red, yellow, blue, and green, making it easy to keep several toys available for play sessions or training. Flexible rubber latex gives the toys a soft, squeezable feel, while the football shape offers a simple target for tossing and fetching.

A built-in squeaker makes a crisp sound when the toy is squeezed or chewed, adding an audible cue to interactive play. Use it for a short game of fetch, a puppy’s teething play, or a change of pace during training. The compact format is intended for extra-small and small dogs, including puppies, it is not a general-size football toy for larger breeds.

Buyers often highlight how much their dogs enjoy the squeaky play and the toys’ appearance. Feedback on size, firmness, and chewing resistance is mixed, and some buyers have concerns about durability. That range of opinions is useful context when choosing a toy for a dog’s individual play style.

Everyday use

Keep a football nearby for indoor play when there’s room for a short toss, or bring one along for outdoor fetch. Its small format makes it easy for a puppy to carry from one activity to another. For training, the squeak can help hold a dog’s attention during a playful break between cues. The set also gives you multiple footballs to rotate through these activities.

The flexible latex construction is described as gentle for gums and teeth, making the toy suitable for teething puppies and small dogs. Dogs can squeeze it for the squeak or chase it during fetch, so it supports more than one kind of play without changing toys. As with any chew toy, match it to your dog’s size and way of playing.

How to use it

Offer one football for a short game of fetch, or squeeze it to introduce the squeak and invite your dog to engage. For training, use a brief play session as an interactive activity. Indoors, keep throws to a clear area, outside, the football shape gives you a compact toy to toss and retrieve. The toys are also described as easy to clean, so they can be tidied after play before being put away.
