Giociv L04 Interactive Dog Ball with Motion Activation and Rope

Technical details

For a dog who needs an engaging indoor activity while you’re busy, the Giociv L04 rolls on its own when activated by touch. Its irregular movement and attached rope add motion and texture to play, giving curious dogs something to nudge, follow, and interact with.

Choose among fast, slow, and interactive modes to suit different play styles. The ball is blue, made of plastic, and measures 2.3 x 3 x 2.3 inches, it weighs 8.32 ounces.

Practical tips

Set the ball on a suitable play surface and choose a mode based on your dog’s energy and comfort with moving toys. The maker describes use on surfaces including wood, tile, carpet, and grass, so it can add movement to indoor play and some outdoor play sessions. A practical scene is a short game in a living room: the dog taps the ball, follows its changing path, and engages with the rope as it rolls.

To switch the toy on or off, remove the cover to reach the button. After handling the controls or charging, twist the cover back on firmly until it clicks, a secure closure helps keep it in place as it moves. Recharge it with the included USB-C cable. A 5V adapter is recommended and is not included. This toy is intended for interactive play, not for dogs that aggressively chew toys.

A traditional stationary ball suits dogs who mainly want to chase or carry a simple object. The L04 takes a more active approach, combining self-directed rolling with touch activation and three movement modes for dogs who respond to motion and interaction.

What you get

The package includes the Giociv L04 ball, two rope attachments, a USB-C charging cable, and a guidebook. The rope adds another element for dogs to investigate while the ball moves, and the rechargeable design lets you charge the toy between play sessions.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if you want to bring movement into a small or medium dog’s play routine, especially for indoor activities. Touch activation, three modes, and the rope attachment give the ball several ways to invite engagement, while its compact, 2.3 x 3 x 2.3-inch shape is suited to a dog’s floor-level play. For dogs that enjoy investigating moving toys, the Giociv L04 offers a distinct alternative to a standard ball.
