Waterdrop WD-F11B Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack Coconut Carbon Replacement

The Waterdrop WD-F11B is a three-pack refrigerator water filter made with an activated coconut carbon block. It is sold as a compatible replacement for select Samsung filter references and refrigerator models.

The filter is intended to reduce chlorine, taste, odor, and suspended particles while retaining beneficial minerals, according to the product information. NSF 42 and NSF 372 are listed as external testing certifications.

Each filter is specified for replacement every 6 months or 300 gallons, whichever comes first, actual service life may vary with water conditions. The package also includes installation stickers and a user manual.

Fit and sizing

This is a replacement filter, not a universal refrigerator accessory. The listing names Samsung DA29-00003G, DA29-00003A, Aqua-Pure Plus, HAFCU1, and FMS-1 among its compatible references, and lists refrigerator models including RFG237AARS and RF263AERS. It also names some LG refrigerator models, so check your exact refrigerator model and existing filter reference against the compatibility information before choosing it. Compatibility names are not a substitute for confirming the specific model in your home.

For a routine replacement, the product directions call for running water through the dispenser for 5 minutes at 0.5 gpm (about 2.5 gallons) to clear the system and help prevent sputtering. The supplied monthly stickers offer a simple way to mark when a filter was installed.

Where it shines

The main appeal is getting three compatible replacement filters in one package, rather than buying a single filter each time. The carbon-block material and stated focus on chlorine, taste, and odor make it relevant for households that regularly use a refrigerator dispenser and want a replacement with those filtration claims. It is an independent Waterdrop product, not a Samsung-branded filter, so shoppers comparing it with an original-brand replacement should weigh the listed compatibility and certifications rather than assume the products are identical.

Buyer feedback commonly describes the filter as easy to install and reports satisfactory fit and water taste. Flow experiences are mixed: some buyers describe good flow, while others report that it slows to a trickle. Those reports are individual experiences, not a guaranteed outcome for every refrigerator or water supply.

Buying verdict

Worth considering if your refrigerator model and current filter reference match the listed compatibility information and you want three replacements in one pack. You may want to skip it if you need a Samsung-branded filter specifically, or if you cannot confirm that your refrigerator is among the compatible models. The mixed reports about water flow are also worth bearing in mind if consistent dispenser flow is a priority.
