GANTINIR Western Cowboy Cactus Stove Cover Mat, 28 x 20-Inch Rubber

After cooking, use the GANTINIR Western Cowboy Cactus mat to cover a cooled cooktop and create a little more usable counter space. Its printed design gives the cover a decorative role as well as a protective one.

The mat measures 28 x 20 inches and is made from natural rubber with a non-slip base. The listing describes it as waterproof and heat-resistant, but it is not meant to sit over active heating elements.

Could one cover do more than keep dust off the stove? This one is also described as a surface for food prep, small appliances, or storage when the cooktop is not in use.

What matters most

The main appeal is the combination of broad coverage and a flexible surface. The listed 28 x 20-inch size is intended to fit most electric and induction cooktops, including some with curved edges, while also helping shield the cooktop and nearby counter from scratches, splashes, stains, and dust. Fit still depends on your range and the space around it, so compare the stated size with the area you want covered before choosing it.

Natural rubber and the non-slip base are practical details for a mat that may be used as an extra work surface. The maker also describes it as odorless and resistant to deformation, though the product information does not specify a care life or a tested level of heat resistance. Treat its heat guidance as a real boundary: with this limitation, the mat belongs on a cooled surface, not over a burner or heating element in use.

Quick sizing guide

The advertised size is 28 x 20 inches, the product dimensions are also listed as 20.5 x 28.5 x 0.2 inches. Those figures are close but not identical, so use them as a prompt to measure your cooktop and the counter area you want to protect rather than assuming a precise edge-to-edge fit. The listing says the 28 x 20-inch measurement includes two hooks, which may matter when planning how the cover sits or hangs.

For induction use, the stated restriction is not to use it on cooktops exceeding 450°F. It should also be placed only after the stove has cooled for at least five minutes. A solid pick if you want one flexible cover that can serve as extra counter space between cooking sessions, It might not be a great match if you need a cover that can stay on a hot or active cooktop.

Everyday use

In a typical kitchen, the mat can cover the range after cooking, then provide a place for meal prep or a small appliance when the burners are off. The same flexible design can be rolled for storage, wiped with a damp cloth, or placed in a dishwasher according to the product details. It is also described for use as a coffee station mat, pet feeding area, washer or dryer top cover, or hanging splash guard, making it more versatile than a cover used only to keep a cooktop clean.

Compared with a basic stove cover chosen just for protection, this design also emphasizes extra workspace and alternate household uses. If you only need a simple barrier over a range, those additional uses may not be important, if counter space is at a premium, they give the larger mat another job between meals. The Western Cowboy Cactus print is part of the choice too, so it suits buyers who want the cover to remain visible rather than store it after every use.

Buying verdict

Choose this mat if its dimensions suit your range and you want a decorative cover that can double as a flexible prep or storage surface. The natural-rubber construction, wipe-clean care, and roll-up storage support that everyday role. Skip it for use on an active heating surface, and follow the stated cooling period and induction temperature limit. Those conditions make it a cover for the time between cooking tasks, not a heat shield for a stove that is still running.
