Haprait HP005 Refrigerator Water and Air Filter Replacement, 3-Pack

At 2.6 inches deep and wide by 11.3 inches high, the Haprait HP005 is a replacement set for compatible refrigerator filtration systems. It is listed as a three-piece pack for ULTRAWF and PAULTRA replacements. Choose a set aimed at both water and air filtration if both components are due, a single-filter replacement is the more targeted approach when only one needs changing. Fit depends on your refrigerator’s listed compatibility.

Technical overview

The HP005 is described as a replacement for ULTRAWF water filters and PAULTRA air filters. Its stated water-filtration benefits are reducing chlorine and odor while retaining beneficial minerals. The product information also states that it is tested and certified to NSF/ANSI 42 for those claims, this is not a broader claim about removing every contaminant.

Requirements

This is not a universal refrigerator filter. Compatibility is listed for ULTRAWF and Pure Source Ultra replacements, plus references including Kenmore 9999, 469999, and 46-9999. The manufacturer also lists numerous Frigidaire Professional and Gallery refrigerator models. Match your refrigerator’s exact model or existing filter reference to the compatibility information before ordering, a familiar brand name alone does not establish fit.

The listing notes that the filter’s central plastic piece differs from the OEM design, while describing installation as straightforward. That detail may matter if you expect the replacement to look identical to the filter being removed. The supplied information does not clarify the exact split of the three pieces between water and air filters, so check the pack contents if you need a specific number of each type.

Getting the most from it

Follow the stated preparation guidance by flushing approximately 4 gallons before drinking from the newly installed water filter. Keep track of the replacement interval as well: the listed guidance is every 6 months or 200 gallons, whichever comes first. These steps give you a clear maintenance schedule rather than relying only on a change in taste or odor.

Buyer feedback generally describes the filters as easy to install and says they work well as replacements. Some buyers also compare their performance favorably with more expensive alternatives. However, ease of use is not universal: some report trouble with the locking mechanism. It suits you if your refrigerator matches the listed references and you want a multi-piece replacement set. Not the best choice if you need a guaranteed identical OEM design or have not confirmed the exact fit.

Buying verdict

The Haprait HP005 is worth considering when its compatibility references match your refrigerator and the listed water-filtration claims meet your needs. Its stated replacement schedule and initial flush instructions make routine use relatively clear, while buyer comments point to both simple installation and occasional locking concerns. If you are replacing both water and air filtration components, the three-piece format may be convenient, if you need only one particular filter type, confirm the contents before deciding.
