Filterlogic FL-RF07 Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack for UKF8001

For a refrigerator that uses a UKF8001- or Filter 4-style replacement, this three-pack gives you filters for successive changeouts rather than a single cartridge. The coconut-shell carbon block is intended to reduce chlorine, taste, and odor in refrigerator water.

Filterlogic FL-RF07 is a compatible replacement, not a filter made or sponsored by the refrigerator brands named in the compatibility information. Matching the replacement reference to your refrigerator’s existing filter is an important part of choosing it.

The package includes three filters, a user manual, and month-install stickers. The stated change interval is every 300 gallons or six months, whichever comes first, actual service life can vary with water conditions.

Everyday use

This is for households replacing a refrigerator water filter identified by references such as UKF8001, EDR4RXD1, Whirlpool 4396395, or EveryDrop Filter 4. The listings also name Maytag 4396395, Amana UKF8001P, Kenmore or Sears 9006 and 46-9006, Bosch BORPLFTR20, Viking RWFFR, and Puriclean II as replacement references. These are cross-reference examples, not a guarantee that every refrigerator using a related brand or filter number takes this cartridge. Check the exact filter reference or refrigerator model before ordering.

There is a specific exclusion worth noting: the manufacturer says FL-RF07 does not replace EDRARXD1 Filter A, EDR1RXD1 Filter 1, EDR2RXD1 Filter 2, EDR3RXD1 Filter 3, EDR5RXD1 Filter 5, or EDR6D1 Filter 6. Those similar-looking Filter numbers are not interchangeable based on this product’s stated compatibility.

Strengths

The practical appeal is the three-filter supply, with stickers to mark installation months and make the replacement schedule easier to track. Filterlogic specifies a coconut-shell activated carbon block and BPA-free, food-grade materials. Its stated NSF certifications are NSF 42, for reduction of aesthetic impurities, and NSF 372, for lead-free materials. The product information identifies chlorine, taste, and odor reduction, it does not provide a basis here for treating the filter as a broad purifier for every contaminant.

Buyer feedback commonly describes installation and fit as straightforward, and some customers say the filtered water tastes better. Reports on water flow and longevity are mixed, however. That makes it sensible to follow the manual and the stated replacement interval rather than assume every cartridge will behave identically in every refrigerator or water supply.

It suits you if your refrigerator’s exact filter reference matches the listed compatible models and you want several replacements on hand. Better avoided if your current filter is one of the explicitly excluded EDR models.

Final verdict

For a refrigerator confirmed to use one of the listed filter references, FL-RF07 offers a three-pack and documented chlorine, taste, and odor reduction, along with materials certified lead-free. The key decision is compatibility: similar filter numbers can refer to different replacement types, and this one excludes several EDR models. Confirm the precise reference before choosing it, especially if your current cartridge is labeled Filter 1, 2, 3, 5, or 6.
