typecase KB201T-100 Touch Keyboard Case for iPad with 360° Hinge and Trackpad

For schoolwork, email, or a video call, the typecase Touch turns a compatible iPad into a setup with a keyboard and trackpad, then lets you rotate the screen for a different viewing angle. Its 360° hinge supports multiple modes for typing, reading, watching videos, and presenting, so the case suits more than desk-based use.

It fits the iPad A16 11-inch (2025) and iPad 10th Generation 10.9-inch (2022). Check your iPad’s generation before buying, similar-looking models are not necessarily interchangeable.

Tips for day-to-day use

The multi-touch trackpad supports familiar gestures for browsing, editing documents, and navigating schoolwork. The English QWERTY keyboard has 78 keys, iPadOS shortcut keys, and adjustable RGB backlighting for typing in dimmer settings. Bluetooth connects the keyboard to the iPad, and its rechargeable battery uses USB-C. Battery life is not specified, so the listing does not establish how often it will need charging.

The rotating hinge is useful when a task changes from typing notes to watching a video or joining a call. A built-in Apple Pencil holder keeps the stylus with the case, while auto sleep/wake is included for routine open-and-close use. The package includes a USB-C charging cable, but not a charger.

Why it makes sense

This case combines iPad protection, a keyboard, and a trackpad rather than requiring a separate keyboard and stand. That integrated approach can make sense for students or anyone switching between typing and screen-focused tasks. Its 360° rotation also offers more positioning options than a basic folio case. Worth considering if you want one case to support both laptop-style input and tablet viewing.

Buyer feedback often highlights the swivel function and Bluetooth connection, with school use also mentioned as a strength. Reports on durability are mixed: some buyers describe long-term use, while others report breakage after several months. Opinions about weight differ as well. At 1.4 pounds before adding the iPad, it is not the best choice if keeping a carry setup as light as possible is the priority.

Final verdict

The typecase KB201T-100 is a practical fit for compatible iPad owners who want a built-in trackpad, backlit keyboard, Pencil holder, and flexible screen positioning in one case. Its broad use modes make it more adaptable than a simple protective cover, while the 1.4-pound case adds weight to the tablet. Choose it for a keyboard-centered setup that can also switch into viewing and tablet modes, consider a lighter, simpler cover if portability matters more than those input features.
