TUNKARMOR iPad Air 11-inch/ 5th/ 4th Keyboard Case, Backlit and Magnetic

Designed for the 11-inch iPad Air and 10.9-inch fourth- and fifth-generation models, this TUNKARMOR case pairs a tablet cover with a detachable Bluetooth keyboard. It has a built-in Pencil holder, adjustable viewing positions, and a backlit keyboard with seven color choices, giving it a more laptop-like setup for typing, reading, or writing at a desk.

The fit is model-specific, so the iPad generation matters more than the similar screen size. The product details list support for iPad Air 11-inch M2, M3, and M4 models, plus the fourth- and fifth-generation 10.9-inch iPad Air. Check your iPad’s model number against the compatibility list before choosing this case.

Quick sizing guide

This case is listed for iPad Air 11-inch M2, M3, and M4 models and the 10.9-inch iPad Air fourth and fifth generations. The product description gives the corresponding model numbers, which can help distinguish devices that look similar. Apple model numbers are also available in Settings under General and About. If your iPad is another size or generation, this listing does not establish that the case will fit.

The keyboard connects over Bluetooth, and the case supports three viewing angles with anti-slip slots. That adjustability suits a range of everyday setups: typing with the screen raised, reading at a lower angle, or placing the tablet for writing or drawing. The magnetic keyboard can be detached when you want to use the tablet without it.

What stands out

The backlit keys offer seven color choices, a practical detail for typing in dim surroundings. A built-in holder keeps a compatible Pencil with the tablet, although the Pencil itself is not included. The case also has an auto sleep/wake function and full edge coverage, its inner honeycomb pattern is described as cushioning. These features make it more of an all-in-one work and viewing case than a basic cover that only protects the tablet.

Buyer feedback is mixed on day-to-day reliability. Some customers describe straightforward Bluetooth setup and a secure magnetic hold, while others report keys that do not work properly or a keyboard that comes loose. Those reports are worth weighing if you plan to carry the tablet with the keyboard attached. There is also an inconsistency in the product information: the title and setup instructions refer to a mouse, but the included-components list names only one keyboard. Confirm what is included if a mouse is essential to your setup.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a detachable keyboard, adjustable viewing positions, and a Pencil holder in one case. It might not be a great match if you need water resistance: the listed resistance level is explicitly not water resistant. The case is made from plastic or polycarbonate, and the product details do not specify a more precise material breakdown.

Should you buy it?

This case makes sense if you want a keyboard-equipped cover that can shift between typing and tablet use, and your iPad is one of the listed Air models. Its detachable magnetic design and backlighting add flexibility beyond a basic protective case. The trade-offs are that the case is not water resistant and buyer feedback is divided on keyboard function and magnetic attachment. Check the iPad model number first, and don’t assume a mouse is included based on the conflicting product details.
