MOBDIK iPad Air/Pro 13" Paperfeel Screen Protector, 2-Pack Matte PET Film

The 0.17 mm PET film has a matte, paperlike surface for writing, drawing, and reading on a compatible 13-inch iPad. This MOBDIK pack includes two screen protectors, with an oil-resistant coating intended to help reduce fingerprints and a matte finish designed to limit reflections from natural and artificial light.

It is listed for iPad Air 13-inch M2, M3, and M4 models and iPad Pro 13-inch M4 and M5 models. The product information specifically excludes iPad Pro 12.9-inch models from 2018, 2020, 2021, and 2022.

Getting the most from it

The paperfeel texture is the main reason to choose this protector over a conventional clear, glossy film. It is intended to give the screen a more paperlike feel during handwriting or drawing, while the matte surface can be useful when working near windows or under overhead lighting. For example, someone annotating documents or sketching on an iPad at a desk may value the textured surface and reduced glare more than a glossy finish.

The film is described as ultra-thin and designed to retain touch sensitivity. That makes it relevant for everyday screen use as well as creative tasks, though the listing does not provide a measured touch-response test. The pack includes two films, so there is a spare for a later replacement or another installation attempt.

What you’ll notice day to day

The matte finish changes the screen’s feel and appearance compared with an unprotected display or a glossy protector. MOBDIK positions the texture for smoother-feeling writing and drawing, and the surface is also intended to suppress reflections and help resist fingerprints and smudges. Those features may be useful if you use the tablet for reading or note-taking in varied lighting, rather than mainly watching content on a highly reflective display.

Installation tools and instructional videos are listed as included support. The instructions emphasize cleaning oil and dust from the screen and aligning the film carefully before applying it. That preparation matters: a matte protector can only sit as intended if it is cleanly aligned, and the listing does not describe a bubble-free installation guarantee.

What to know

Compatibility is specific to the 13-inch iPad Air and iPad Pro families named in the listing, including the stated M2, M3, M4, and M5 versions. It is not a general fit for every iPad, and it is explicitly not compatible with the 12.9-inch iPad Pro generations listed above. Check the exact tablet size and model before choosing it, a similar product name or screen size alone does not establish a fit.

The protector is transparent PET with a matte surface, not a replacement display or a hard glass cover. Its listed hardness is 3H, and its dimensions are 10.9 by 8.3 inches. If your priority is keeping the screen’s original glossy look, a clear glossy film is a closer match. This MOBDIK option instead prioritizes a textured writing surface and reduced reflections.

Final verdict

It makes sense if you want a paperlike surface for writing or drawing and your tablet is one of the listed 13-inch Air or Pro models. The two-film pack and installation guidance add practical value, while the matte treatment is the defining tradeoff in feel and finish. Not the best choice if you own a 12.9-inch iPad Pro or specifically want a glossy screen protector, those needs do not match the stated compatibility or surface design.
