SUPRUS Electric Candle Lighter USB Type-C

Technical details

For people who light candles, fire up a grill, or use a camp stove, the SUPRUS Electric Candle Lighter offers a long reach and a neck that bends to different angles. Its plasma arc is flameless, and the steel shell gives the rechargeable design a more substantial feel than a basic disposable lighter. The product listing specifies a 4.1-inch lighter and a USB Type-C connection.

Four LED lights show the battery level, so you can see when it may need charging. The arc switches off automatically after 7 seconds, and a child-proof switch is built into the on/off button. The listing says the battery can be recharged 650 times, but it does not provide charging time or battery capacity, so those details are hard to judge in advance.

Getting the most from it

The flexible neck is the main reason to choose this style over a fixed-neck lighter. It can help reach a candle wick inside a deep jar or angle toward a grill without bringing your hand as close to the lighting point. For an ordinary candle on an open table, a simpler lighter may do the job, the bendable design matters more when access is awkward or you want extra reach.

It suits you if you want one rechargeable lighter for indoor candles and occasional outdoor use. The listing also positions it for stoves, BBQ grills, camping, hiking, and fireworks. The plasma arc is described as windproof, but no specific weather rating is given, so don't treat that claim as a guarantee for wet or severe conditions. From the way it is set up, this is a convenient general-purpose tool rather than a specialist choice with detailed outdoor performance information.

Usage tips

Bend the neck toward the wick or ignition point before activating the lighter, then use the on/off switch to create the arc. The automatic shutoff limits each activation to 7 seconds, if a candle takes longer to light, release the switch and try again rather than expecting a continuous spark. Keep the arc clear of anything you are not trying to ignite, and store the lighter where children cannot reach it. A child-proof switch is a safety feature, not a substitute for supervision.

The four battery indicators make it easier to spot a low charge before lighting a candle or heading outside. The package includes a USB charging cable, and the product name specifies USB Type-C. If charging details are important to your routine, check the connector on the lighter and cable before relying on a particular cable you already own. It might not be a great match if you need a stated charge time, battery capacity, or a clearly documented weather rating.

Questions before you buy

Does it use a flame? No. The listing describes a flameless plasma arc, rather than a conventional fuel flame.

Does the spark stay on continuously? No. It automatically shuts off after 7 seconds, so you may need to activate it again for a slower-to-light wick.

What comes in the package? The listed contents are the SUPRUS lighter, a USB charging cable, and a user manual.

Buying verdict

Choose the SUPRUS if a rechargeable, bendable-neck lighter would make candles or hard-to-reach ignition points easier to handle, and you value battery-level LEDs and automatic shutoff. A basic fixed-neck option makes more sense if you only need to light easy-to-reach candles and don't need the extra flexibility. For frequent outdoor use, the windproof claim is appealing, but the missing weather-rating and battery details leave practical questions unanswered.
