Haown Flameless Candles, Set of 9

For a long dining table, fireplace display, or outdoor gathering, a coordinated set of flameless candles can add a warm glow without an open flame. Haown’s ivory pillars have slanted tops and a dual-LED design: one light provides a steady base glow while another flickers above it.

The set includes two remotes, so you can control the candles from a nearby seat instead of switching them on one by one.

What matters most

The main distinction is the lighting effect. Rather than a single flickering point, these candles combine a steady lower light with an upper flicker, creating a more layered look around the slanted top. That makes them suited to grouped displays, such as lining a mantel or arranging candles down the center of a banquet table. They are battery operated and described as non-melting and waterproof, which gives them a different use case from real wax candles when you want a decorative glow outdoors.

The included remotes offer an easier way to operate multiple candles together, and the timer can be set for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The listing gives a 300+ hour runtime and specifies 2 AA batteries, which are not included. Keep in mind that the product description identifies PP material, while the product name calls the pillars resin, it does not provide dimensions or explain the material wording further.

Best use cases

This nine-candle set makes most sense when you want several matching lights for a larger arrangement: a fireplace display, a holiday setup, a wedding aisle, or a long table. In a quick evening setup, you could place them along a mantel, step back to adjust the spacing, then use a remote to switch on the group without reaching behind each pillar.

If you only need one accent candle, a smaller set may be simpler. These are geared toward creating a repeated look across a space, not toward providing the focused light of a lamp or the scent and live flame of a traditional candle. Since dimensions are not listed, it is hard to plan exact spacing without that measurement.

Tips for day-to-day use

Use the timer when you want a predictable run time without manually turning the candles off later. Keep the remotes somewhere easy to find, especially if the candles are placed on a high mantel or among other decorations. For an outdoor arrangement, the listing describes the set as waterproof, but it does not specify a water-resistance rating or conditions for extended exposure, so choose placement with that in mind.

The candles are not ready to use straight out of the box: batteries are not included. It makes sense if you want a coordinated, battery-powered display with remote operation, You may want to skip it if you need exact sizing information before arranging a tight space or prefer the scent and changing flame of real candles.

Practical doubts

Do these candles use real flame? No. They are battery-operated flameless candles with LED lighting.

Can you set a timer? Yes. The listing specifies 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-hour timer options.

Are batteries included? No. The product description specifies 2 AA batteries, sold separately.

Buying verdict

Choose this set if the priority is a broad, matching candle display that you can operate by remote, with a flickering effect and timer options. It is more useful for dressing a mantel, table, or event space than buying a single decorative light. The missing dimensions are the practical drawback: if precise fit matters, you will need more sizing information before deciding. For smaller displays or a real-flame experience, a different candle format is likely a better match.
