Nimiko Flameless Candles, Set of 24

Key points

For anyone decorating several rooms, setting a table, or filling lanterns with candlelight without an open flame, this Nimiko set offers 24 battery-operated LED pillar candles in three heights. Each candle has a 3-inch diameter, a 3D-style wick, and a flickering effect intended to look more like a real candle than a steady light. The remote controls let you switch between flicker and steady-on modes, adjust brightness, and set a timer. That makes the set useful when candles are placed on a mantel or inside a display that is awkward to reach.

The package lists four remote controls and a timer with 2-, 4-, 6-, and 8-hour options that cycles every 24 hours. Batteries are not included, so they need to be ready before the candles can be used. The ivory plastic pillars will not melt like wax, but the material and appearance are different from real candles, the effect is visual rather than a substitute for a flame or candle scent.

Care tips

Keep the candles dry: the plastic is not waterproof, so these are not suited to rain or wet areas. While the description mentions outdoor decoration, that limitation makes them better suited to indoor use or a location protected from moisture. Wipe them gently when dust builds up, and avoid treating the plastic body like wax that can be trimmed or reshaped.

Keep in mind that batteries are not included. Check the instructions for the required battery type and installation details, since those specifics are not provided here. If you are placing the candles somewhere hard to access, set them up and test the remote before arranging the display. From the way it is set up, the timer is useful for a repeating routine, but it does not remove the need to supply batteries.

Practical tips

The three heights—3, 4, and 5 inches—can add variation to a centerpiece or shelf without mixing different candle styles. For example, arrange them in a lantern grouping on a dining table, use the remote to switch on the flicker before guests arrive, then choose a timer setting rather than reaching into the display later. The brightness control may also help when a more subdued glow fits the room better.

Compared with buying a few traditional candles for occasional use, this set is aimed at decorating multiple spots with a consistent look and avoiding an open flame. It suits you if you want a remote-controlled glow for indoor displays and can provide the batteries. You may want to skip it if you need waterproof candles, real wax, or a flame-like source of heat.

Practical doubts

Do the candles come with batteries? No. The product description says batteries are not included, and it does not specify the battery type.

What can the remote control do? The listed functions include switching the candles on or off, choosing flicker or steady light, adjusting brightness, and selecting a 2-, 4-, 6-, or 8-hour timer.

Can they be left outdoors? They are described as not waterproof. Avoid rain and damp conditions, an exposed outdoor setup is not a good fit.

Is it worth it?

This set makes sense when you want a coordinated group of flameless candles, several heights, and remote access for displays that are inconvenient to reach. The timer and choice of lighting modes add practical control beyond a basic battery candle, while the 24-piece format gives you more flexibility than buying a small standalone set. The trade-offs are straightforward: you supply the batteries, the bodies are plastic rather than wax, and moisture is a concern. Choose it for dry indoor decorating where convenience matters more than a real candle’s material or flame, pass if your setup needs weather resistance or the feel of traditional wax.
