CAKETYCG Flameless LED Candles, 5-Pack

Technical details

Some candle decor is mainly about the glow, this set also aims to recreate the movement of a flame without burning wax. It includes five ivory, battery-operated pillar candles in three listed heights: 5, 6, and 7 inches. Each has an acrylic outer cylinder, a realistic moving-wick effect, and embedded LED string lights for added detail.

An included remote offers on/off control, dimming, and timer settings for 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The candles require two AA batteries each, and batteries are not included. That means the set avoids cords across a mantel or table, but you’ll need to supply batteries for every candle.

Getting the most from it

The set is intended for Halloween, Christmas, weddings, parties, home decor, and outdoor gatherings such as garden dinners. Its mix of heights can add variation to a mantel or dining table without relying on open flames, melting wax, or smoke. The acrylic cylinders also put a protective layer around the candles, though the details provided do not establish that they are weatherproof.

It makes sense if you want several coordinated flameless candles and value remote dimming or scheduled shutoff. A simpler set without a remote may be enough if you only need a steady decorative glow, this one’s added controls are more useful when candles are placed around a room and aren’t convenient to reach individually. From the way it is set up, the tradeoff is battery upkeep rather than plugging in or dealing with real candle wax.

Usage tips

For a dinner setting, place the different heights along a table or on a nearby shelf, then use the remote to adjust brightness and select a timer. The moving-wick effect and small LED lights are meant to add visual texture, while the timer can help avoid leaving the display on longer than planned. Keep the candles where the remote can be used comfortably, and have the required AA batteries ready before arranging them.

These are decorative lights, not a source of heat or functional candlelight. The realistic flicker is an appearance feature, so anyone who specifically wants a real flame, warmth, or the scent of burning wax should choose a different kind of candle. Not the best choice if you want a rechargeable or plug-in setup, since the listed power source is AA batteries.

Before you decide

What batteries does each candle need? Each one requires two AA batteries. They are not included, so the five-candle set needs batteries supplied separately.

What can the remote control do? It provides on/off control, brightness adjustment, and timer choices of 2, 4, 6, or 8 hours. The listing does not specify the remote’s range.

Do these candles use real wax or an open flame? They are battery-operated flameless candles with a moving LED wick effect and acrylic outer cylinders, so they are designed to create a candle-like look without burning wax or producing smoke.

Buying verdict

This five-piece set is a practical fit for someone who wants varied candle heights, an ivory finish, and remote-controlled ambiance for seasonal or everyday decor. The timer and dimming add useful control beyond a basic flameless candle set, especially when the display is arranged across a table or room. The main decision point is the power setup: each candle needs its own AA batteries, and there’s no stated rechargeable option. Choose it for decorative flicker and convenience, skip it if your priority is real-flame warmth, fragrance, or avoiding disposable batteries.
