LOHAS Puppy Plug-In Night Light

A little light in the hallway or a child’s room can make bedtime feel less dark without leaving a bright room light on. The LOHAS puppy plug-in night light pairs a 3D dog design with automatic dusk-to-dawn operation and several lighting choices.

Choose soft white for a gentler bedtime glow, or switch to color when you want the puppy to double as playful room decor. Its sensor handles the daily on-and-off routine, though placement matters: the instructions say not to put two of these lights too close together.

Getting the most from it

Plug it into an outlet where its light can reach the area you want illuminated, such as the path beside a child’s bed. The dusk-to-dawn sensor is intended to turn the light on as the room gets dark and off when daylight returns. Keep in mind that the sensor stops working when the light itself is turned off.

A short press cycles through three modes: soft white at 3000K, color cycling, and a selection of eight solid colors, including red, blue, green, and light pink. In soft white mode, pressing the button dims the brightness by 50%. To turn the light off, press and hold the button for two seconds, press again to turn it back on. The product description says it remembers the selected color after restarting.

Why it’s worth it

This is more flexible than a basic night light that offers only one steady glow. You can keep the room calm with soft white, or use a colored setting when the light is also part of the decor. For example, a child can settle in with the dimmed white setting, while a color mode gives the puppy a more noticeable presence during the day or early evening.

You’ll appreciate it if you want a small plug-in light that combines an animal design with automatic operation and simple button controls. If you prioritize a steady, no-fuss glow, soft white covers that use, if you prefer a more playful look, the colors and cycling mode add options. It’s described as made for durability, but the provided details don’t specify its materials or include durability test results, so that claim is hard to assess on the spec sheet.

Key takeaways

• 3D puppy design intended for a child’s room or as room decor.
• Dusk-to-dawn sensor, with a manual off function that disables the sensor while the light is off.
• Soft white, eight solid colors, and color cycling, soft white can be dimmed by 50%.
• Avoid placing two night lights too close together, as the instructions flag this for optimal sensor performance.

It may not suit you if you need detailed information about materials or want a light with documented durability testing. Also consider whether the chosen outlet location leaves room for nearby plugs and gives the sensor a useful view of changing room light, no dimensions or outlet-layout details are provided.

Final verdict

The LOHAS puppy night light makes sense for a child’s space where a cute shape, automatic dusk-to-dawn use, and a choice of white or colored light matter more than detailed product specifications. It offers more variety than a single-setting plug-in light, while remaining button-operated rather than requiring a more involved setup. Choose it for a simple bedtime glow with decorative color options, look elsewhere if documented materials, test details, or a specific physical size are essential to your decision.
