SSAWER CAAB-103 Magnetic Building Blocks, 100 Pieces, 0.8-Inch Cubes

At 0.8 inches per cube, these magnetic blocks are sized for hands-on building and easy-to-handle designs. The SSAWER set includes 100 multicolor pieces across 38 designs. Children can follow the illustrated guide or create structures of their own. It is designed for ages 3 and up.

Highlights

Each cube has eight magnetic contact points to connect pieces as children build, take structures apart, and try new arrangements. The set’s varied designs support open-ended construction, while the included illustrated references offer starting ideas for play. That combination gives kids room to follow a model or invent a different build from the same collection of pieces.

The magnetic format makes assembling and rebuilding a central part of the activity. Children can explore shapes and structures through direct, hands-on play, using their own ideas as well as the guide. For a family activity, adults and kids can build together and take turns suggesting what to make next. The blocks are also suited to classroom activities, at-home play, and gift giving.

Made from ABS plastic, the multicolor set comes with an instruction manual and 100 magnetic blocks. Buyers often describe the blocks as entertaining and appreciate the creative play and magnetic connections. Some say the pieces are smaller than they expected, so the listed 0.8-inch cube size is a useful detail when choosing a set.

Tips for day-to-day use

Keep the blocks together between building sessions so the full set is ready for the next design. Children can use the illustrated guide as a starting point, then dismantle and rearrange their builds to explore other ideas. The compact cube format also makes it practical to sort pieces by color or design while planning a structure. With 100 pieces in the set, there are multiple shapes and arrangements to explore without relying on a single finished model.

Getting the most from it

For a simple play session, choose a design from the guide and build it together, then invite the child to change the structure or create something new. This gives the activity a clear starting point while keeping the outcome open-ended. The magnetic connections support repeated building and rebuilding, making the set useful for children who enjoy experimenting with different arrangements.

Compared with a construction toy centered on one fixed model, these magnetic cubes are intended for free-form designs as well as guided builds. They make sense if you want a screen-free activity that combines colorful pieces, magnetic connections, and room for children to direct their own play. The age guidance is 3 years and up, and the included instruction manual provides visual ideas for getting started.

Final verdict

The SSAWER magnetic block set brings together 100 cubes, 38 designs, and an illustrated guide in one hands-on building activity. Its mix of guided ideas and open-ended construction makes it a practical choice for home play, shared family building, and gifts for children ages 3 and up.
