FNJO FN-100+ Magnetic Tile Building Set, 100-Piece STEM Toy with Idea Book

Build a colorful home, castle, or 3D tower together at the kitchen table or in a classroom with the FNJO magnetic tile set. Its pieces connect magnetically, giving kids a hands-on way to explore construction, stacking, and imaginative designs.

The 100-piece set includes an idea book to help spark a first project, while the variety of shapes lets children move from flat patterns to three-dimensional builds. It is recommended for ages 3 and up and can be used for solo or shared play.

The essentials

This multicolor set combines 94 basic shapes, 2 car bases, and 4 nonmagnetic click-ins. The magnetic tiles help hold a construction together as children arrange and stack pieces, making it easy to try different forms and rebuild when an idea changes. The included idea book offers inspiration for getting started, while open-ended building leaves room for children to create their own designs.

The play can start with simple two-dimensional patterns, then progress to houses, castles, and other three-dimensional structures. Sorting colors and shapes, planning where pieces go, and building upward can bring construction, concentration, imagination, and stacking skills into play. For a group activity, children can take turns adding pieces or work together on a shared design.

Buyer feedback often highlights the engaging play, creative possibilities, and magnetic connections. Some buyers also report receiving fewer pieces than expected, so it can be useful to count the set when organizing it for a classroom activity.

Cleaning & care

The tiles are made from ABS plastic and described as washable, making them practical for regular play at home or in a learning space. Their smooth surfaces and rounded edges suit hands-on building. After play, gather the pieces together with the idea book so the set is ready for the next project, whether that is a quick pattern or a larger group build.

Usage tips

For a first activity, lay out a few pieces and invite children to make a flat pattern before trying to connect the sides into a three-dimensional shape. The idea book can help introduce possible builds, and children can then change colors, shapes, or layouts to make a design their own. Using the car bases as part of a construction gives them another way to incorporate the pieces into imaginative play.

The set is intended for children ages 3 and up. For shared play, a table or open floor area gives players room to sort pieces and add to a common structure. The tiles are also described as compatible with same-size magnetic tiles from other brands, which can help extend an existing collection.

When it makes sense

It suits you if you want a reusable building activity that brings color, shape, and construction into play without locking children into a single finished model. At home, it can support a shared project or independent creative time, in preschool, kindergarten, daycare, or classroom settings, the multiple-player format makes it practical for collaborative builds. Compared with a fixed-model construction kit, this set centers on rearranging magnetic pieces into new patterns and structures, with an idea book for prompts and plenty of room for personal designs.
