Mileonaim LY-A-MMB-200 Magnetic Building Blocks, 200 Portal Cubes

Each 0.8-inch cube makes a bell-like rustling sound as it connects, adding a sensory cue to building and imaginative play. The Mileonaim portal-themed set includes 200 magnetic cubes, giving kids room to create their own structures or follow ideas inspired by its adventure themes.

An idea booklet and character cards bring Lava, Portal, and Forest concepts into screen-free play for children ages 3–8.

Who it’s for

This set is designed for preschool and school-age kids who enjoy building, storytelling, and hands-on activities. The 0.8-inch cubes are sized for little hands to grip, while the magnetic connections let children join pieces as they shape towers, tunnels, castles, or other creations. It can also make a shared activity for siblings, friends, or adults and children to build together.

For families choosing between a basic collection of construction pieces and a set with a built-in theme, this one pairs open-ended building with prompts for getting started. Children can use the booklet’s Lava, Portal, and Forest ideas, then take their own designs in a new direction.

What you’ll notice day to day

The cubes’ soft, bell-like rustling sound when connected gives the building process an extra sensory element. It can make joining pieces feel more engaging as kids assemble a portal tunnel, invent a cave, or rearrange a structure into something new. The magnetic format supports hands-on construction without relying on a screen, and the portable design makes the set easy to bring into different play spaces.

The booklet and six character cards offer starting points when a child wants inspiration, while the 200-piece count leaves room to experiment with larger builds or several smaller ones. Buyers have highlighted the set’s play value and the way the magnets hold pieces together, with some also describing it as entertaining for extended play. These are customer impressions, while each child’s play experience will vary.
