BunnyBoo MMT01-42-US Mini Magnetic Tiles, 42-Piece Travel Set with Case

The 42 magnetic pieces fit into a travel case that also serves as a building base, making it easier to bring hands-on construction play to a restaurant table, an airplane seat, or a family trip. Six colors and a guide with ideas for 39 models give kids starting points for building while leaving room to create their own designs.

The compact format keeps the activity portable and screen-free, with pieces stored together between play sessions.

Worth noting

This set is built around play on the go: the magnetic tiles store in their case, and the case can be used as a base for building. That gives children a defined surface for arranging pieces when a table is not available. For a wait at a restaurant or a quiet activity during travel, the set offers a hands-on alternative to screen-based entertainment.

There are 42 pieces in six colors, so children can combine colors and shapes as they build. The included model guide features 39 ideas, including rockets and animals, to help get a project started. Kids can follow an example or use the pieces for open-ended construction, which makes the set suitable for both guided and imaginative play. Its construction-focused design also gives children a way to practice building skills as they assemble and rearrange their creations.

Buyers often praise the set’s portability and entertainment value, mentioning trips and mealtimes as useful moments for play. Some also appreciate how the magnets hold the pieces together. These are customer impressions, while the travel case and magnetic format are the practical features that support play away from home.

How to use it

Open the case and use it as the building surface, then choose a model from the guide or start a design from scratch. Children can place and reposition the magnetic tiles as a structure takes shape. When play is finished, return the pieces to the case for storage and transport. This simple routine makes the set easy to bring along for a visit, a meal out, or another stretch of downtime.

Practical tips

For a more focused activity, pick one model idea and gather the colors needed before building. For open-ended play, invite children to make an animal, a vehicle, or their own design, then change it by moving the tiles around. The case’s dual role as storage and a base helps keep the activity centered in one place.

Compared with a building set chosen mainly for a permanent playroom setup, this set puts portability and a built-in work surface at the center. That makes it especially relevant when you want construction play that can travel with the family. It can also work as a shared activity: children can take turns choosing a model or adding pieces to a joint creation.
