Esanik iPhone 18 Pro Matte Privacy Screen Protector, 4-Way Filter, 2+1 Pack

A clear screen protector prioritizes an unobstructed view, while a privacy filter trades some off-angle visibility for more discretion. The Esanik protector is made for iPhone 18 Pro and combines a matte surface with privacy filtering from four directions. Need to check your screen in a public place without making it as visible to people beside you? This design is intended for commutes, work, and travel, with an installation tool included to help align it.

What stands out

The filter is designed to keep the display clear when viewed straight on and darken it from the left, right, top, and bottom. That makes it a more targeted choice than a standard clear protector when screen privacy matters in shared spaces. The matte finish is also intended to reduce glare and make fingerprints, smudges, and oily marks less noticeable. If you often use your phone under bright indoor lighting or outdoors, those surface qualities may be useful, though the privacy tint can change how the display looks.

Esanik describes the tempered glass as offering up to four times the protection of ordinary glass. Treat that as a manufacturer claim, not a guarantee against damage. The listed hardness is 9H, and the screen coverage is described as full coverage with room around the frame for most compatible cases. The pack includes two screen protectors, two cleaning kits, one lens protector, and one installation box. It suits you if you want privacy and a matte finish in the same screen accessory rather than choosing a basic clear protector.

What to know

Compatibility is specified for iPhone 18 Pro only. The protector is designed around the front sensor area for Face ID access, but buyer feedback on Face ID is mixed: some say it works, while others report trouble. Feedback on the screen tint is also divided, with some appreciating the privacy effect and others finding the display too dark. That tradeoff matters if you prefer a bright, unchanged view or regularly share your screen with someone beside you.

Buyers often praise the privacy effect and ease of application, and some describe the fit as good. Durability feedback is less consistent: some report no cracking, while others say the glass cracks easily. These are individual reports, not a reliable measure of how the protector will perform in a particular drop or impact. Compared with a basic screen cover, this one adds directional privacy and a matte surface, a clear protector may make more sense if preserving the screen’s usual appearance is your priority.

Usage tips

Use the included cleaning kit and installation box to prepare and align the protector before pulling the installation tab. The one-pull tool is designed to guide placement and remove dust during application, which may help reduce alignment guesswork. Follow the included installation steps, and check the screen and front sensor area after fitting to confirm that the display and Face ID behave as expected. The pack provides a second screen protector as a spare, along with a separate lens protector.

Is it worth it?

This Esanik set is worth considering for iPhone 18 Pro owners who want four-way privacy, a matte surface, and an assisted installation method in one package. The strongest reason to choose it is the combination of viewing-angle privacy and glare control, the main compromise is that the tint may not suit everyone, and reports about Face ID and durability are mixed. It’s not for you if keeping the screen’s appearance and viewing experience as close as possible to an unfiltered display matters more than privacy. For this type of use, weigh the privacy benefit against that change in viewing before choosing a matte filter.
