REOLINK OMVI 3i WiFi Outdoor Security Camera, 18MP Triple-Lens 4K
Product description
Who it’s for
At 5.94 x 4.92 x 7.95 inches, the REOLINK OMVI 3i WiFi brings three lenses together in one outdoor dome camera. Its upper lenses provide a 180° panoramic view, while the lower 4K pan-tilt lens can turn to follow activity and capture details across a wider area. That combination suits driveways, front doors, garages, and yards where a single fixed view may not cover the whole scene.
Choose it for a connected, feature-rich view of your property, a simpler fixed camera may suit a spot that only needs one viewing angle.

Where it shines
SyncTrack links the panoramic and pan-tilt views: when the panoramic lens detects a person, vehicle, or animal, the lower camera can lock on and follow the subject, including beyond the panoramic lens’s field of view. Auto framing and auto-cruise add ways to keep a moving subject or monitored area in view. Perimeter tools include virtual fences, zone intrusion alerts, and loitering alerts, while local AI video search helps locate relevant footage without a subscription.
For a driveway or entrance, the panoramic view can show the broader approach while the pan-tilt lens follows activity. The camera supports continuous recording and local storage options, including microSD, Reolink recorders and hubs, FTP, or NAS. A built-in microphone and speaker also support two-way audio for speaking with visitors or delivery drivers. It works with Alexa, Google Assistant, and Home Assistant.
Buyer feedback praises the clear picture and straightforward setup. Experiences with Wi-Fi connection and reliability vary, and motion tracking also receives mixed feedback. The camera’s tracking and detection features are useful tools for monitoring, rather than a substitute for checking that the selected view and alerts suit your property.
Before you decide
What storage options can I use? The camera supports continuous recording to a microSD card up to 512 GB, as well as compatible Reolink NVRs, Home Hubs, FTP, and NAS. Local recording does not require a monthly fee.
Does it connect over Wi-Fi, and does it support PoE? It connects over dual-band Wi-Fi 6 on 2.4 or 5 GHz and uses corded electric power. PoE is not supported, so plan for a power connection at the mounting location.
What should I know about using it with a Reolink hub or NVR? For compatibility, update a Home Hub or Home Hub Pro to firmware v3.3.0 or later, or a Reolink NVR to v3.6.4 or later. Dual-view display in the Reolink PC Client also requires version 8.21 or later for compatible triple-lens cameras.
When it makes sense
The OMVI 3i WiFi is well suited to outdoor monitoring where a broad panoramic view and a movable tracking lens serve different jobs. Its Wi-Fi connection, weather-resistant housing, local recording choices, and person, vehicle, and animal detection bring those functions together in one camera. For a yard, driveway, or entrance that benefits from both area coverage and subject tracking, the triple-lens setup offers a practical way to watch more than one angle without relying on a fixed view alone.
