REOLINK E1 Pro 3K Indoor Camera, 5MP, Dual-Band Wi-Fi & Auto Tracking

Pan-and-tilt coverage helps you check more of a room from one indoor camera, while auto tracking follows detected movement. That makes the REOLINK E1 Pro useful for keeping an eye on pets, family members, or a nursery from a distance.

Its 5MP 3K image and F1.6 aperture support detailed viewing, including in low-light conditions. Night vision extends up to 40 feet.

Choose 2.4 or 5 GHz Wi-Fi to suit your setup, and use two-way audio to listen or speak through the camera. Bluetooth also supports initial setup.

Everyday use

Set the camera on a surface or mount it to a ceiling or wall to suit the room. Its pan-and-tilt movement offers 355° of pan and 50° of tilt, letting you reposition the view through the app instead of relying on a fixed camera angle. When a person or pet moves through the space, auto tracking can follow the movement. Person, pet, and baby-crying detection can help direct your attention to activity that matters at home.

For example, place it in a living room to check on a pet while you’re away, or use it in a nursery to view the room and listen for crying. Two-way audio lets you respond through the camera, whether you’re speaking to a family member or calling a pet. The choice between 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi also suits different network needs: the 2.4 GHz band is described as offering wider coverage, while 5 GHz is intended for faster speed.

What you’ll notice day to day

The 5MP 3K resolution is designed to show clear detail in live viewing and recorded video. The F1.6 lens aperture lets in more light, and night vision provides a way to monitor a room after dark. Together, these features suit routine check-ins when the room’s lighting changes throughout the day.

The camera supports local storage with a microSD card, as well as recording options using a Reolink NVR, Home Hub, or FTP/NAS server with RTSP/ONVIF support. That gives you a choice between a simple card-based setup and a broader recording system. There’s no monthly fee required for the camera’s detection features.

Buyers often highlight easy setup, clear pictures, and night vision. Feedback on two-way audio is mixed, and some buyers mention Wi-Fi disconnections or the camera going offline. These experiences can be useful context when deciding how you plan to use a connected indoor camera.

Key takeaways

This model combines room coverage, automatic tracking, detection, night vision, and two-way talk in one camera. Compared with a fixed-view camera, its remote pan and tilt are useful when you want to check different parts of a room without moving the unit. A fixed camera may suit a single, unchanging view, the E1 Pro is designed for a more adjustable view and moving subjects.

Choose a surface placement or use the included mounting plate and hole template for a mounted installation. The camera is for indoor use and has a corded power connection. Its app control and support for Reolink recording devices make it suited to a home monitoring setup that may grow beyond a single camera.

Should you buy it?

It makes sense if you want more than a stationary view for checking on pets, family, or a nursery. The 5MP 3K picture, 355° pan, 50° tilt, auto tracking, and two-way audio each serve a practical role in everyday indoor monitoring. For a room where activity can happen in different areas, the REOLINK E1 Pro brings those viewing and communication tools together in one dual-band Wi-Fi camera.
