REOLINK E1 Zoom 4K Indoor Security Camera, 3x Optical Zoom, Wi-Fi 6

Check on a room from your phone, then pan the camera to follow activity instead of relying on one fixed view. The REOLINK E1 Zoom combines 4K video with 3x optical zoom. Want to look across a wider area without repositioning the camera? Its pan-and-tilt movement and auto-tracking are designed for that kind of indoor monitoring.

Everyday use

Place the camera in a bedroom, living room, kitchen, or home office to keep an eye on the space through app control. It pans up to 355° and tilts up to 50°, so you can adjust the view as activity moves around the room. Auto-tracking follows detected people and pets, while preset monitoring points let you return to selected views. The 3x optical zoom helps bring distant areas into view without relying only on digital enlargement.

For use after dark, infrared night vision reaches up to 40 feet. Two-way audio lets you communicate through the camera, and cry detection can alert you to sounds in a monitored room. Person, pet, and cry detection are supported, with two detection modes available at the same time. The camera is designed for indoor use and runs on a power adapter, Bluetooth setup helps connect it to your network during installation.

What stands out

The combination of a movable camera head and optical zoom makes the E1 Zoom a flexible alternative to a fixed-view indoor camera. It can cover different parts of a room from one mounting position, while its zoom and preset views help direct attention to specific areas. Wi-Fi 6 supports wireless networking on either the 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz band, and Bluetooth is available for network setup. Local microSD storage and compatibility with Reolink recording systems and FTP/NAS servers give you several ways to handle recordings.

Customer feedback often highlights clear picture quality and an app that many find easy to use. Experiences with setup and connectivity are mixed, and comments on motion detection and automatic tracking also vary. These reports describe individual experiences rather than a guaranteed outcome, but they offer useful context if you are weighing camera controls and tracking alongside image detail.

Is it worth it?

The E1 Zoom is a practical fit for indoor monitoring when you want more than a stationary view: 4K video, 3x optical zoom, pan-and-tilt control, and person or pet tracking are brought together in one camera. Its cry detection and two-way audio also support check-ins in bedrooms and shared living spaces. Choose it when adjustable coverage and app-based viewing matter more than keeping the camera aimed at one fixed angle.
