PrintImpression LC506XL Ink Cartridge 4-Pack for Brother INKvestment Printers

The four-cartridge LC506XL pack includes black, cyan, magenta, and yellow ink, so compatible Brother printer owners can replenish all four colors in one purchase. PrintImpression lists the cartridges for the INKvestment MFC-J4355DW, MFC-J4555DW, and MFC-J4557DW. The stated yields are estimates, not a guarantee of how many pages you will print.

Who it’s for

This set is intended for owners of the three listed Brother INKvestment printers who need replacement black and color cartridges. It includes one cartridge of each color, making it a practical fit for a home office or other setting that regularly prints both text and color documents. If you only need to replace one specific color, a single-cartridge purchase may be a closer match than a four-color bundle.

The listing describes the cartridges as LC506XL replacements and says they include chips intended to support compatibility. Since printer compatibility is model-specific, the useful check is whether your printer is one of the MFC-J4355DW, MFC-J4555DW, or MFC-J4557DW models named here. The product details do not establish compatibility with other printers.

Where it shines

The main appeal is having black and all three listed color inks together, rather than sourcing each cartridge separately. That can suit a printer used for a mix of black text and color pages: for example, someone printing work documents during the week and occasional charts or other color material can keep the full set on hand. Need both everyday black printing and color output covered by one purchase? This pack is organized for that kind of use.

PrintImpression estimates up to 2,500 pages from the black cartridge and 1,500 pages from each color cartridge, for a stated total of up to 7,000 pages. Those figures are based on Letter/A4 pages at 5% coverage, so actual yield will depend on what you print. Pages with heavier ink coverage may not match the estimate. The listing also identifies the ink base as water-based and the cartridges as high-yield replacements.

Key takeaways

The set contains four cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta, and one yellow. Its listed printer compatibility is specific, and the claimed chip support is not a substitute for matching your printer model. The yield numbers are useful for comparing cartridge formats, but they are estimates under a stated coverage condition rather than a promise for every print job.

Compared with buying only the color you have run out of, a four-pack gives you the full set at once, but it may be less suited to a buyer who needs just one replacement. The product information describes the cartridges as producing sharp black prints and vivid color, these are manufacturer claims, not independently verified performance results. Within these limits, the pack is best assessed by checking your printer model and whether a complete color set fits your replenishment needs.

Is it worth it?

A solid pick if you own a listed MFC-J4355DW, MFC-J4555DW, or MFC-J4557DW and want one replacement set covering black, cyan, magenta, and yellow. The estimated page yields may also help if you are comparing high-yield cartridges with standard-capacity options. Better avoided if your printer is not among the supported models or you only want to replace a single color. The decision comes down to model match, the convenience of receiving all four inks together, and whether the stated yield estimates suit your typical print coverage.
