PETLIBRO PLWF115 Dockstream Cordless Cat Water Fountain, 2.5L, Stainless Steel Tray

For cat owners and households with small dogs who want a drinking fountain that can sit away from an outlet, the PETLIBRO Dockstream PLWF115 offers cordless placement and a 2.5-liter capacity. Its removable stainless steel drinking tray and battery-powered design suit an indoor setup near a pet’s usual resting or play area.

A four-layer filter helps reduce odors, impurities, and debris, while the detachable tank makes refilling and cleaning more convenient. In sensor mode, the fountain dispenses water when it detects a pet nearby.

Compatibility

Designed for indoor use with cats and small dogs. The cordless setup gives you more flexibility than a fountain that needs to sit beside an outlet, helping you position the drinking station where your pet already spends time. Keep the water below the MAX line, and follow the product manual for setup and care. Before installing the filter, soak it in clean water for 5 minutes and rinse it thoroughly for 30 seconds. PETLIBRO replacement filters are recommended for best performance.

Everyday use

The sensor setting runs a 42-second water flow when a pet comes within 19.7 in (50 cm), offering moving water in response to nearby activity while helping conserve battery power. With a full charge, the fountain can run for up to 10 days in this mode. When connected to power, choose sensor mode or continuous flow to suit your pet’s drinking habits.

For a practical setup, place the fountain near a familiar resting spot, fill the tank, and let the sensor setting provide water when your pet approaches. The stainless steel tray lifts away from the tank, and the wireless pump and detachable, lightweight tank make it easier to carry the water reservoir to the sink for refilling. The four-layer filter combines materials that help reduce odors and impurities while its high-density sponge helps catch debris that could obstruct the pump.

For routine care, the manufacturer recommends changing the water and cleaning the tank, tray, foam filter, and pump once a week. Homes with multiple pets may need more frequent cleaning and filter changes. Regular pump cleaning also helps maintain its operation.

When it makes sense

Choose the PLWF115 if you want a cordless indoor fountain with a removable steel drinking surface, a 2.5-liter tank, and sensor-based water flow. It offers a flexible alternative to an always-plugged-in fountain, with continuous flow available when connected to power. The combination of adaptable placement, multi-layer filtration, and accessible parts for refilling and cleaning makes it a practical fit for cats and small dogs with a regular indoor drinking station.
